Anthony Gardner, Calum Davenport, Paul Stalteri n Edgar Davids

Spurs are saying that these 4 can leave.... think any of them could do the job? obviously davids could but the wages would be impossible to afford

 

I don't think Davids would be interested, but Davenport and Gardner aren't bad players if Aidy is looking for a centreback.

 

Where does Stalteri play - full back or? And is he any good?

 

Would take gardener, possibly Davenport.

 

Davenport would be a handy signing

 

Davenport is not good enough in the Prem to drop Jay or Danny for. Plus, him and Danny as CBs would be far too slow.

I doubt he'd want to come here and sit on the bench either.

He's a very good player at Championship level though, where pace doesn't matter quite as much.

Stalteri is a decent right-back. We don't particularly need to strengthen at right-back though.

 

davenport is the only one i'd even consider.
