I was just watching on SSN about Amateur Ref's...

In a sunday league match a woman ref (16) disallowed a goal, and the player gave her plenty of abuse and then actually hit her

A 16 year old male ref was Head butted by a 13 year old for being sent off

Seriously it's time they took a leaf out of the peanut hugging books. Player are not allowed to talk to the ref. Only the captain may. If a player is disciplined he is with the captain. It should be a red card offence to abuse the ref a yellow for talking to them unless spoken to. This goes for Mangers and Assistant refs & 4th Official as well.
