He was our MOM yesterday IMO!!! (Unfortunately :doh He even got his hand to the penalty and damn near saved it :sign15:
As above, settled in the area, kids are at local schools. Didn't have to move far from Arsenal that's for sure.
I'll admit I wasn't particularly impressed when we signed him, but I'm never impressed. He has been excellent and if we wants to stay then we need to keep him.
Exactly what I thought on the replay. If KP had not hit that perfectly, that would have been an all time save. I'm not kidding when I say perfect hit.
We need to maybe loan have for 1st half of season then get him back 2nd half, to try and get him a few games so MA can rest.
Taken from today's rag called the daily star Almunia, 36, said: "I am in talks with Watford as it is my first option but I am a free agent so I can talk to any other club." Best get this sooner rather than later GFZ
I'd love to keep Almunia here but if he goes you'd want to look at someone with the same level of experience to be in or around the club even if they aren't first choice. Last season, Derby and Ipswich both had young keepers and were swapping them a lot and i don't think it was very sustainable idea based on the fact that both Derby keepers have now been released and one of Ipswich's. If Fulham are looking around for a new GK, I'd definitely take a punt at Schwarzer.
