If that's the case then you could well be right, I thought they played different positions but if they are both defenders then I guess we will end up with one of them.
Sorry to reply again mate. And this could be complete bull but supposedly to an ITK on twitter the hold up is his visa. Take that with a pinch of salt but maybe that's the hold up?
Because I want Layun to play, especially for commercial reasons. I know I posted it another thread but living in California there is a lot of Mexicans and they all love him and follow his career and have all started to follow watford because of him. He needs to be playing for us next season.
I have to agree with Carpster. I couldn't give a flying fig personally if the Mexicans in California want him to play. If he plays much for Watford next season, it'll be because he warrants a place in the squad, not because of 'commercial reasons'.
I wouldn't mind us signing one or two slightly more established PL players as well this summer..in addition to all the exciting overseas players who look like joining us
Yes that was the impression I got too. I guess one issue is the huge wages players here seem to demand. I read Guidetti wanted 60k a week!
Doesn't help that he's used to a hefty wage from City. Imagine all the Chelsea youth players who won't make it will be wanting £30k a week in the Championship.
I'm sure once the dust settles and some of the other clubs start moving players around, we will see more rumors ref the Premier league. Supposedly we have a couple of younger players lined up to join once their contracts are up. Anybody have any ideas of these youngsters? You then have to see who is available out of the pool from Udinese and Granada. Some real talent going there.
Has said he's signing a 5 year deal with Udinese. Medical Tuesday then presented to the media on Wednesday which I don't think they'd do if he was coming here. Might go to Granada for a season so he can play every week?
Think now we ve got Holebas and Layun as LBs , you re right to say he s probably Udinese bound. Am interested to see how the Iraqi 'Lloyd Doyley' turns out to be .
Yay , go you. You ve had a victory. All that energy poured into dull and tedious cynicism has not gone to waste after all.
I believe Sherlock said that Udinese had already signed their 2 non-EU players so there's no way he can play for them this season. Think Granada may also struggle with EU quotas this season, but not entirely sure.
I only said what Id been told WT. things chop and change all the time and the only people who really know what's going on are Dux, Dowling and Gino and I certainly don't know them . Said all along I'm definitely not ITK just occasionally hear the odd thing .
