Premier League side Watford have lodged an enquiry for EA Guingamp’s French striker Alexandre Mendy, according to L’Équipe.

With six goals in 29 matches in all competitions this season, the 23-year-old has been told by Guingamp representatives that they will allow him to leave the club this summer.

Angers and Bordeaux have also registered an interest in the player.

Well, Leeds are a bit of a ****show of a football club, but after this year with Monk as manager, they do seem to be on the mendy, wouldn't you say?
