Not really excited by this. Read on wiki that he was runner up to Scott Parker as pots at the hammers. If we're signing people worse than Scott Parker, I'm very worried.

I love him already . He's got mad hair , crazy tattoos and in his interview on hornets player he managed to say pretty much nothing for about 5 minutes . I think he's going to be a star for us !

Having seen all these lookalikes I'm a bit concerned that our transfer policy is based on signing players who resemble game of thrones characters rather than footballing ability . Could this be why vydra and Forestieri are not in quiques plans ? I'm just putting it out there...

 

I don't want to make the Fessi/Tyrion comparison, but if it means he stays at the club...

 

This will annoy people but I'm honestly not on a wind up. I've never seen Diamanti live but I'd still prefer him over Vydra.

 

Not annoying but how can you prefer someone when you havent seen them play

 

Quique has done nothing so far that makes me question his judgement and his ability as a coach. He's made it very clear that Diamanti is ready to offer something to the team and Matej is not, therefore I'd prefer it if Diamanti played.

 

Nothing obsessive about it. I just think we will struggle for goals this season and don't have much pace upfront. Just look what muff did yesterday with Wilson and gradel. Vydra has pace to burn and is the best finisher I have ever seen. We will live to regret it if we let him go. This signing apparently seems to make that highly likely.

Only 1 game but I dont have high hopes for him , also if we dont play 2 strikers up front at home we will not win many home games! We are wasting our best assets .
QSF (granted on face of 3 games ) doesnt seem to have the flexibility and adaptability that SJ had !
Muff yesterday played 2 up front fast attacking Hi tempo footy and in 1st half blew west ham away!
Either we learn the offensive part of this 4231 soon or we have a plan B .
I was confident of survival this season I know its only 3 games but I am starting to get some insidious doubts about our much vaunted Head Coach.

I've seen probably 200+ players through the squad in the last 4 decades - I guess I'm blasé about the whole Vydra thing. His total lack of loyalty 2 seasons back doesn't wash with me either.

We've had several better finishers than Vydra - Mighty Mo certainly was. The world won't end whatever happens with Vydra, and our prem survival doesn't depend on it.

I'm Sure he will get a game Tuesday and it's down to him to put 2 or 3 away and make it hard for QSF to leave him out.

Several ? You are joking. Mighty Mo would be the second best for me. Probably make Furlong the 3rd - he was pretty clinical, until he went to Chelski !!! But again today - where was a goal coming from ?? We need the fast clinical finishing that Vydra offers, even if he doesn't start the match.

 

You did witness Mo's season with us in person right not just on film? Far Far more clinical than Vydra, who had 3 outstanding months in his first season but has blown a bit hot and cold since.

 

With his bandaged up wrist I thought Keith lemon was on the pitch. Looked unfit and rusty, but there were glimpses of what he may be capable of. Judgement reserved for now.
