I saw a twitter from Kevin Affleck that I haven't seen picked up upon here. Maybe I've missed it?

Said that word was Michael Jones, Head of Business at WFC was on gardening leave.

True? And if so, wonder why?

A clash with Mr Bassinis role?

Purge of the Julian Winter team?

A view some deals / sales performance / ticketing decisions were bad?

Or something else?

Affleck went on to say that Jones was incompetent, part of our financial issues and a disciple of Simpsons. So perhaps this is a good thing!

I remember him, he's the one who came up with that marvellous quote:

This will work if they bring the Hot dogs down to 7p or I spend £10,000 at the pictures... Totally lost interest in clubcard as my balance never seemed to grow.

Well Jones is no longer listed on the official sites Senior Management page.

Noticed him in civvies in the Lower Rous last home game, which I thought was odd as he's usually in a club suit.

I remember when he worked in the ticket office whith big Charlie in the 90's - been at the club forever hasn't he?

 

there is another person leaving the club, heading up the M1 & M6

 

I wonder if Alex Ashby will follow him?
