Apparently "rumours are increasing in strength" he is being signed by Udinese and then moved to us. Even if there is any truth in the rumour why would that even be the case?
Who is he and it looks as if Jon Marks and Derek Payne will have fun next season ,what with the Lithy Keeper and this fellow.

Really don't like the look of this guy. Seems to be another Fessi where he can do something great but can't really finish. We are not going to get chance after chance in the prem. We'll always get opportunities to score due to the nature of our players and psyche but we need guys who are going to finish these chances most of the time. I love these flair players but get a bit frustrated when they get their chance and cannot put it away.
he looks very talented. could well be one for us to develop and may suit premier league football with his running at opposition players. ok he looks a little bit rash in some scenarios, but no reason we can't improve his game. like fessi he has the raw skills just needs a bit of honing. its a yes from me.
Wiki says he scored 9 in 28 games in the Dutch top division. For a winger 1 goal in 3 is a pretty good ratio
What are you judging this on? A 3 minute youtube video? He;s only 22, of course they were going to have to show some of his misses if they wanted to make it a 3 and a half minute video. And your comment about us always being able to create goal scoring opportunities.. we are playing in a much better league now, we won't have the same number of chances in this league. We need players of a higher quality now to create chances for us

We can sign direct, but then it is a lot harder to account for money being transferred between the two clubs. I think Udinese will still sign players for us and put a non relegation transaction fee clauses in contracts.

not sure anyone could say this would be a bad signing...would be a good addition to the squad i feel. we can always develop and sell if need be.
We don't have the Premier League TV money yet and it likely won't be deposited for a while. The current Prem season hasn't even concluded yet. We know the Pozzos like to do their business early, so my guess would be that they are going to move players requiring a transfer fee to us through Udinese/Granada with a future payment scheduled to be delivered to them one the Prem TV cash enters our accounts. It may also be a way to funnel future profits to the overseas clubs through sell on clauses, and thus share the wealth.
Never seen him play, so can't really give a proper opinion. Watched the couple of youtube videos about him, seems decent enough, one thing that did notice in the 9minutes I saw him, he needs to lift his head up and pass rather than opting to shoot everytime. This is only based of 2 youtube videos do take with a pinch if salt because maybe he does but the clips certainly didn't suggest he does.

I just love the notion that despite the renowned scouting network the Pozzos have built obviously taking a liking to him over an extended period of time, a fan can watch a 3 minute video and go "na, won't be good enough."
