It's a new loan - it was renewed after a month back at Palace, rather than simply being extended after his original loan finished. Not sure what would happen in the latter situation, but it's not relevant to this case.

 

Well done Adlene, true proffesional... Give 101% for his team. Hope we sign him in the summer...

I think Adlene was fantastic tonight, a different player to the one I saw V Ipswich, really showed what a team player he is

 

Thought his first half was 'so so' but the second half performance was out of this world.

Gave away the ball for a dodgy counter-attack, but other than that was quality tonight, Every other game i've seen him in he's been another level though. Love Alan (what me and Cassettis Beard call him cos we can't pronounce his name)

 

With the match being shown on Sky, he really put himself in the shop window. Think there will quite a queue of clubs fighting to get him next season.

It wasn't a clause as such, it was just the possibility of cancelling his loan for a few days then renewing it before the loan window shut. We didn't, for whatever reason, so it now can't be done.

 

Even then it would only have covered him for the final day I believe.

Absolute gem of a player. Way too good for the Championship. But he seems to like our club and I'd fully expect to sign him if we go up.

 

He was absolutely awesome today and if we get promoted (or not) I really hope we sign him up.

 

He's going to injure someone soon, or more likely himself.

 

I think he has the potential to be as important as deeney, along with ighalo. 3 top quality players there ready and capable for the premiership.
