Based on the fact that Richard Lee has been ( ok poorley ) linked with Aberdeen and that in Aidys comments about he Gillingham game where he said he saw Gillingham against Port Vale last year I have come up with this magical theory......... Joe Anyon - Vale goal keeper is who Aidy is looking at. Was first choice for the second half of the season and was asked by Liverpool to train with them so they could have a look at him. He has also ben touted by Bolton and Manchester city. Highly rated & only about 20. Has a massive kick and commands his area. Only about 6' though. Emmm. 2 + 2 =
I think it's safe to assume that Aidy was at that game to monitor Matt Jarvis more than anyone else. I like the theory though.
Posted this a couple months ago. I think he is a decent goalie who has a good record of cleen sheets i recall.
I hate the theory!! But then again I would. We would gain nothing from signing him. We might as well play sodding Loach. Lets go and sell a decent 24 year old and replace him with someone younger...who plays in a lower league...with less experience...who has only just earnt his pro contract... Great idea.
