A now gutted Preston fan here..

Hi again guys,

What a game..that's 23 points now that we have dropped from winning positions. I thought that if we could have just got that third goal then the points would have been in the bag. We played really well in the first half; Keith Treacy was magnificent.

Yourselves however were brilliant in the second half, thankfully you didn't get that goal at the death; that would have finished us off.

I would have to say that I think it was 2 points dropped for Preston after goin 2goals up and this game probably being our worst performance I can remember our team looked unbalanced we had players out of position I realy dont think that Preston will have a much better opportunity to get 3 points this season than lastnight but yet they nearly lost it even after going 2 goals up I think lastnights game reflected Prestons season so far and as much as I would like to see them escape relegation to me that is looking unlikely

Thanks for the link Nick. You had 2 glorious opportunities after going 2-0 up that would have definately finished the game before half time. A classic game of 2 halves.

 

Didn't go , only shoutbox in first half. Second half I was watching outcasts, suprised that we got a draw.

Due for a win at Reading, I can feel it in my finger tips.

 

i slpped £6 on the draw at 10/1 in the second arf- within a few minutes it was 2-1 so layed it of and won meself £40 with no risk attached whatever the result...

It was my tactics of betting that got us da point - Paddy for manager, chairman and overall fat controller...

Not exactly two halves.

Preston should have been four up by time Whichelow notched his 69th min goal.

Even then Preston hit the post, and still carried on looking for the winner after Thompson's leveller.

As a Watford gain, I think it was a point gained.

If I was a PNE fan, I would be gutted. Two goals up, hit the post, missed several other chances, and basically threw away two valuable points in their brave attemp to avoid relegation.

 

Haha, thanks guys for the sympathy, but that's been our problem all season like I mentioned in the match preview post.

I wish you guys the best of luck anyway and would love it if you had made the playoffs come the end of the season i.e. before the last game
