Does anyone know the offical rules of this? Do you actually have to watch a match there for you to count it?

    Thanks

    'Doing the 92'

People who go out their way to watch pointless matches they are not interested in, very gay indeed.

Although i have probably done 60 odd grounds myself following Watford, i haven't counted.

I have only once been to a ground to watch a game other than watford. That was Burgess Hill town. So your comments do not apply to me at all.

I visited the scum yesterday and saw the ground - But I really dont ever want to go and watch a match there, that is all.

I quite agree. What a pointless badge of honour for people with otherwise empty lives. If you've got hours to waste every Saturday, maybe you'd be better off by offering your services for volunteer work, rather than carting your bones up to Carlisle to cross it off your list.

I watched a match there once. They lost 4-0 to a team with a fat Welshman up front.

I'll never do the 92 because i simply cannot be arsed. Carlisle, Grimsby and other out of the way holes, no thanks.

god you are all so bloody grumpy.

  8. There are people who did the "92" with Watford.

If I remember it got completed with either Leeds or Wigan in the Eighties.

Thing is, you tend to get one or even two new clubs a year now, plus all the new stadia.

What's wrong with Carlisle and Grimsby?

Dont get me wrong RTC, the smaller grounds are always good for a laugh, but VDT is wasted by spending the majority of the day missioning it up to these places.

  10. Grimsby have a PROPER bar in the AWAY end where you can sit down and watch the game whilst partaking of GAY LAGER.

Learn to think LATERALLY young fella.

I went there last year to see Peterborough. It hasn't changed much.

Train Delays PRECLUDED a visit to the Number 1 or the Number 2.

    CURSES!!!!

well we all know I am a tad strange, but it IS cute, and dinky.

  14. Favourite grounds now..........

    Hmmmmmmmmmm................

One used to be Upton Park until they messed it up.

Of the "new" ones, Newcastle made me all dizzy.

I didn't go to New High Berry due to PADDED SEAT ISSUES.

Brentford was always GOOD and I liked Glanford Park.

But, for purely sentimental reasons, the Stadio Olympico in Rome.

    I was just 17.

    PS Bunnies are NOT CUTE.

They POO all over my lawn and the fox we have does SOD ALL to stop them.

    That doesnt count

  16. That place made me a bit dizzy too.

    Why doesn't it count?

well it is not part of the 92 grounds, neither does your foreign one either.

has to be favourite out of grounds in the league ones.

My favourite is the City Ground, Nottingham

Abroad, you cannot beat the Nou Camp.

    yuck

  21. Look this thread has gone off the subject again.

Do you all want to get TOLD OFF AGAIN?

    I didn't think so.

    So....

    The 92 club....

I reckon if you put your mind to it you could do all 92 in one season?

    What does everyone else think?

  22. Echo

    Echo Squad Player

    I have tried.

And No I doubt it very much. not to watch a whole game of football anyway.

  23. Echo

so where does that come in your 1 to 92 then?

It's OK RTC, in the steam room there is no problem with off topics whatsoever, (see the stella thread).

I want to stick up for Grimsby. Went there for a cup game in the 80's by "football special" train and had a great day. It's true about the fish smell though. The police escorted us straight to the ground from the train and straight back afterwards, but luckily there were plenty of other spirits lurking in our bottles of coke.

Think I've done about 40 away grounds myself. Newest was Newcastle last season.

  25. I am not sure what number I am at. Must be about 60 clubs. Newest and probably the only new ground this year (unless I finally make it to Blackpool or Plymuff) was Glanford Park. I did go to the Old Showground. Wasn't so far to walk to the stayshun.

I am missing some STRANGE ones! Northampton and Swindon being examples. I would have thought I should have been to those.

I did like Upton Park in the 70's and 80's. That 4-2 win in 1984 (I think) was BRILLIANT.

Don't care what Miss Faith says (is this our first TIFF?) I just LOVED it in Rome.

I danced in the Trevi Fountain.

You have to come to Blackpool - going to be a great weekend!!

Hopefully by the end of the season i should be over 50 - depends who we get in the cup!

  27. You only look 22 to me........

    Blackpool away

RTC: I am going for a weekend in Blackpool
    MLG: Okay.

I'm not sure this is going to work, are you?

    Besides it will be COLD.

  28. Echo

    Thanks:]]

Bring her!! I am sure she would like a weekend away!!

It will not be cold, it will be in May. Plymouth will be a good weekend away too - although I have already been there!

  29. 1) Ever been to Blackpool? It is ALWAYS FARKING COLD!

    2) I don't think I will introduce MLG to a Watford away fixture. EVER. I am not sure she would approve of FISTICUFFS, minihoolies CHUCKING UP, VDT being lost etc

What odds are there on some silly kid getting BITTEN by a donkey?

This thread has gone off topic again Miss Faith.....

    You keep doing that.

See admins post above - we are ok, we are in the steam room. Perhaps all threads that go off topic should be moved here?

It isnt my fault anyway. I finished my report and now I am BORED. You could introduce her to me I am the very essence of a well behaved young lady.

Well my next new ground will be Colchester - closley followed by Stoke.

  31. Unfortunately, if I introduced her to you I would not be allowed to go to football again.

She worries I will run off with a YOUNGER MODEL (both her ex husbands did).

If we draw Colchester in the cup there is a CHANCE for you of doing two new grounds for one club in the same season!

Ha ha - No I want Derby. Or a l;ower league team I havent been too.
