    I don't think he can send or receive until he's got the ton up. You're service should be fine but it will reject a message to Johnny because he can't receive them.

    Thanks very much for the advice mate. Of course, I could simply post my e-mail address in public on here and he could respond but I've never seen anyone else do that and I'm kinda reluctant. Who knows where that might lead?

    Yeah, I wouldn't do that either. He'll have to post a load of old guff to get his post count up or maybe a kindly mod could pass your email address on to him?
