Do it online. With a valid ID you can handpick your seats. If you don't come because you can't sit in your usual seats, im sorry, but thats pathetic.

You mean like any normal away game?

I think all unclaimed season ticket seats are released this morning. I've just had a look, got straight in and there seems to be a fair few to select from. Have another go now - I can't see any problem. You may even get your usual seats.

So you're not going because you can't get your usual seat??

Well considering we can't even get 2000, it's absolutely pathetic really.

I should be able to have reserved my normal seat. There's a big group of us and I cannot reserve my normal seat when it should have been ok to do so. I cannot get a group of 6 together but odd seats in different parts of the ground.

I have a young family and we all need to sit together. I know this has been the experience of quite a few other fans, so this is why the gate will be down. People will not put themselves out if the club make it so difficult to get tickets.

When I go online I cannot buy any tickets because it is saying "all seats are restricted try and pick another match." Great.....well thanks for that.

Clearly there is a problem with the system and they are overloaded on the phones as I cannot get through. So I've now given up and will watch the match on Sky.

I've literally just gone on the website, then clicked buy online, then the game, and found a section with loads of seats left in the lower rous. HB1 it's not hard, click on that link then login to your ST fan id.

There's plenty of six seats together in the Family Area as well as those in the LR.

I have it at just over 1400 tickets left in normal views with the ticket office being able to release more tickets with restricted views if there is demand. just counted all the green dots as I am very bored at work and trying to make time pass until 7-45!

Logistically it's a big deal for me to get to matches. I'm based in Spain and will need to buy plane tickets etc. I would have gone to the game, as I always do, but I rely totally on being able to get tickets remotely.

The online system did not work for me and I could not get through via the phone. I personally hate the view from the LR and I am used to my ST seat in the Rookery. It's the best stand with the best atmosphere and best facilities. I'm a ST holder and I don't see why I should have to relocate to another stand because the club couldn't cope with the demand for tickets.

It's really not worth the effort anymore so I will reluctantly watch the match on Sky.

You're an ST holder, which covers you for 23 home Championship League games, you don't have a divine right to a seat in other games, you get a period of time where you can purchase your usual seat as a gesture of goodwill from the club almost, and then after that it's fair game.

I don't understand what the issue is though, it sounds as if you can easily obtain 6 seats together in other parts of the ground, which is surely much better than watching at home!

Ultimately the club needs to come up with a better auto-cup system for ST holders. People should be able to say if they automatically want League Cup, FA Cup or play-off tickets should we end up having home games in those competitions. Not all or none.

It light of all the problems people are experiencing with the system and now can't go to various games etc, I'll just say in the interest of balance I had no problems getting an away ticket or my own seat. It's not that bad a system.

The way for ST holders to purchase tickets of this type needs to be improved. I'm making the point, but I know many others have had big problems with getting tickets for this match. I've already explained why I do not want to relocate and it's my personal preference.

At the end of the day, it's the club that needs to go the extra mile to attract fans, not the other way around.

Agreed, it just seemed silly to give up entirely, admittedly though I guess living abroad it's a little different.

i love the way the glory hunting window licking scum canuts get all the tickets (2ah me mate wants to go with, me brother went to a match 8 years ago but wants to go etc etc etc) when loyal fans who have season tickets struggle to do so..

if you have a season ticket that seat should be allocated to you up to 48 hours before kick off -if not purchased then on general sale to database and touts.

it's too feckin simple to do though.

    wtf..

probably because wfc don't actually source the ticketing and an outside party does it instead..

feckin football - 46 games you follow in a season and you get shafted in the play offs.

    quite funny ..

as stated previously I can't make the lcfc match away tonight or Sunday as I'm still on me way back from the Bolton away loss.

There's better seats available now than what there was when I was on there earlier! Loads left.

Agree - in the first instance as a ST holder you could only reserve your seat with no extra sales, they then allow ID holders to buy up to two tickets, but ST holders have had problems buying additional seats on line as they have already made a purchase.

How many ST holders would have purchased a 2nd ticket ? 2000 ? great that would have boosted it to 10,000 before the other 5000 went on general ID sales.

It's almost as if we panicked and then realized that the sales would be determined by the outcome of tonight match instead of getting as many sales as possible as early as possible.

I disagree, the club should be bending over backwards to ensure that the loyal fanbase gets their usual seats well before the fair weather fans come in for tickets. I do understand that this is a rush job with massive demand and overloaded phones, but the way many ST holders have been treated in regards to this game is a bit of a joke. HB1 being a prime example.

How about this for radical thinking: Include playoffs as part of the Season Ticket package. After all, the club get a huge amount of TV money and extra merchandise being sold for this match, plus we usually get in them once in a blue moon so over time not a lot of money is going to be lost by including them. It would have saved 99% of the issues we've had this week.

HB1 isn't going because he doesn't like the seats he would be sitting in.

Surely that is the very definition of 'fair weather'?

The idea of including a playoff ticket would not be a bad idea. It would be a good way of rewarding loyal supporters and ease the ticketing issues.

There do seem to have been quite a few issues this time around. I hope some of these can be taken up by the fans group who have been involved in dialogue with the club in recent weeks.

    Depends.

Personally, unless the club can guarantee me I won't be sitting behind or next to some fatty with a flatulence, halitosis and body odour problem, then I'm not interested.

I've been having fun with the Football League Regs recently so to use another one....

We could only do that if Leicester City agreed to it. ie. It has to be agreed with the specific opponent so can't be something the club just implement unilaterally one summer when selling STs. Basically as a collective it seems the various chairmen have agreed it would be awfully nice for them if no one could give away freebies without permission as it just reduces the overall pot of cash to go around.

Now you're being deliberately obtuse. I think we all know that HB1 probably travels further per home game than 99.9% of us.

For the last game of the season I had to move to a different part of the ground to sit with my Sons football team. The view and general area was horrific, and I longed for my usual seats. If I've paid several hundred quid for the privilege of reserving that seat for the entire season, then when a big game comes around I don't expect some once a season "oik" to get it over me.

Still tickets left today as my daughter just bought mine for me but then she's not called Denise or from Dubai. Nor is she a Leicester fan trying to blag a ticket in the Watford end.

2,500 left according to the WO.

  31. Just looked on on-line booking; about 100 left in rookery (nearly all singles); about 140 left in Lower Rous except LR1 (vic road end, about 240 left there); about 110 left in UR (nearly all at extreme ends) and about 350 in VR, being about 250 in the West section mainly to left as you look from pitch. It will look pretty damned full apart from the northwest corner. I also make that about 1000 left.

Personally I booked my ST seats online last Saturday night no problem. It was once they started splitting phone and online sales that people began having problems.

Not sure why most ST holders didn't just grab their seats straight away, and as for HB1 well they extended the deadline for claiming your seat by about 4 days so you've had plenty of time.

Initial over-estimation of demand by the club followed by constantly moving the goalposts is the reason for poor sales for both legs I'm afraid.
