It's unfair to pass judgement on people for going to large games; they are many like myself who live abroad, and it takes a significant amount of effort to attend a game. If I went to one game this season, it would be the play-off final. If I still lived in the UK, I'd have a season ticket.
I thought that but Leicesters official attendance last Friday was 8500 and I'm pretty sure they more season ticket holders than that
Commentator made the point during Arsenal game last week that they announce figure of 'how many tickets' sold as opposed to how many fans actually in stadium hence why their 'attendances' are always at the same 60,000 mark irrespective of the fact often '000's empty seats. Hear lots of Leicester fans very annoyed that game went ahead last week with so many people (and even some of the players) unable to get there.
I think that the that the season tickets holders are always counted in the attendance whether they are there or not, so if no one turned up at the Vic then the attendance is given as 9000 ish, it used to be like this for accountancy reasons, and also for some reason people in the Exec boxes were never counted, again this is going back 20 odd years so things may have changed, in these days a lot more people paid cash at the gate.
a) I'm not slagging anyone off b) I wasnt actually refering to the City game c) Why such an aggressive tone? (the thing I've highlighted in bold is quite ironic really) d) I don't go to many away games, what are you on about? e) You misinterpreted pretty much everything that I said f) No we shouldn't tell anyone to F off, but it doesn't mean that they aren't a fair weather supporter (unless they live too far away to go to the games)
