The point being made earlier was it's all done tax efficiently & GP is loaning his own company money at significant APR levels, that's all perfectly above board.

Fascinates me that @The undeniable truth has the ability to get a little shirty, dare I say angry over such a remark (its not as though it isnt true) & also the need to prove perceived superiority in such circumstances.

Regretfully this trait often shows itself when someone is suffering disillusions of grandeur.

Why is it tax efficient though? Expense for football club that has brought forward losses available and income for owner who will have to pay personal tax.

 

It may be because your somewhat flippant (and wrong) remark "P&L is just a balance sheet on a piece of paper to satisfy HMRC, no great conclusions can be made from that whatsoever." hits the nerve of those who know they are far more important than that.

The profit loss may be even but what about our assets (if that’s the right economic term) ? Playing assets
must be worth £100m plus which I suspect is more than the start of the period. Plus infrastructure investment. I reckon we might be more successful than the figures indicate. That’s what I reckon anyhow. Probably.
