Thought we were pretty poor yesterday, great work by Yeates though to sneak round the back to give Sordell a tap in. I thought the forward line looked pretty ineffective, it only seemed a bit more of a threat when big Chris came on - he did more in this game than he had done in all of his other appearances for us.

Hogg did well, Mariappa was again different gravy!

Mariappa did do well, apart from a couple of occasions he let the ball bounce, you learn not to let it bounce at kids level!

Only for 20 minutes or so when the sun was right in his face, it was very bright.

The way Mariappa has started this season, might see Swansea come back in for him.

Barnsley hadn't won at home so was hoping for a more positive performance but a point away from home is not too bad. Will take that.

Very good point, Barnsley is a notoriously difficult place for us.

As Bubble said we have 2 very winnable games against Forest/Millwall coming up, which could see us move up the table a bit.

Well the Forest game is on TV and we have done pretty well on TV games in recent times. I hope Shhhteeve McLaren is still there by then, seems to be quite clueless playing 4 central midfielders with little width. I reckon we could change shape for the game and play 5 across midfield, perhaps Garner coming in for Weinman and playing in an attacking midfield role.

2 wins and we are looking good.

I keep reading about how good Mariappa has been this season, but I have to say that Barnsley's goal was what I've always seen as typical poor Mariappa marking, he was absolutely nowhere near Gray.

What? The ball was swung in with no real closing down from ****inson, the ball arrived at the back post 3-4 yards out, where the fark was Loach? Doyley had also switched off and let the plasyer cruise in unchallenged.

I have to say that twonk who was berating Loach didn't help matters, but when is he going to learn and start collecting those type of crosses - they should be food and drink for a decent keeper, which I believe Loach to be.

He should set up a business, retailing such items of headware.

And maybe if he can't fund it himself he could go on some sort of TV Reality show to help him out.

Agree ****inson should have closed down far better but it was Mariappa's man not Doyley's and he was absolutely nowhere near him.

The photos uploaded on the Watford FC Facebook page would suggest that the Yellow Order have recruited a brand new member...

It looks as if they've got a picture of him from another photo and stuck it onto that one. Fair play to him though, looks like he's getting right involved! Also instead of showing the picture, why does it now have "Attachment 1480"?

    That's what I thought.

Looks like he's well into it though haha.

And I'm guessing JB downloaded the picture and uploaded it from his PC, straight to the forum as an attachment.
