One was never going to sign and anotrher in China at the moment. Not sure what is up with De La Cruz but maybew another club has made in an offer?
So where are the June (full year 2007?) accounts? Last time I checked I could have sworn we were in August not that the weather is any help :]]
I cant wait to see something along the lines of Additional "board of directors" security costs due to militant messageboard users - £10million There, that would explain everything.... my fault everyone (and perhaps Moogs, Nath and a few others) note. Moogs started the "lynch the board" thread
Don`t Worry! Financial problems now solved- I have it on good authority that the club have raised additional cash through selling that old Kenny Jacket signed picture they put up for auction.:]]
So whos up for a mass protest in the stands tomorrow then?? all together now..."Wheres the money gone..wheres the money gone"
I hope you aren't going tommorow. Great idea that'll really help the side on the opening game of the season. Hopefully morons like you and anybody who wants to abuse/boo the side or individual players will stay at home tommorow. You 'ooorrrrrrrrns!
what gives you, or anyone else the right to call someone else a moron? its just childish. Im not having ago. just saying that just because you dont agree with someone does not make them a moron.
Staging a mass protest on the opening day of the season during the 90 minutes or so we should be getting behind the side is moronic.
you know what i do agree with you, there i said it. Yes the players deserve stick for the problems we have, but they got that stick last season, and they should get a clean slate this season. a before/after the game protest against the board would just be pointless, home or away. the chairman wants to sell so a protest would be pointless.
Because I'm angry and confused by the state of the club/it's finances and by the lack of signings means I wont get behind the players on the pitch? If whoevers out there shows pride and passion in Watford colours then I'll support them all the way, but if some t**t like Priskin for example is just strolling about doing precisely f**k all, then I'll let him know what I think of that too.
yeah prisken never does himself any favours. fans like a player who works hard as where prisken tries to get away with doing as little as he can. i dont like it when players get stick, but if he is anything like he was last season then to be honset he does deserve the stick. any players who try hard and so passion will allways get my support.
Nope, but it'll make me feel better and if said player is doing f**k all they deserve it and shouldn't even be on the pitch anyway.
i agree. i will be behind and support every player that gives there all for the team, but if someone isnt giving there all, i won't be happy and will let them know, and i think that will be the view of most fans but i think everyone at selhurst tommorow at the start of the game will be behind the team
As i said, i hope you aren't going tommorow. Absuing individual players is the last thing we need, have people not learned from Mahon and Stewart, sure they played badly and that was far from solely down to the fans but i'm certain that the abuse they recieved all but ended any hopes they had of finding some form, they're confidence must have been rock bottom.
Mahon and stewart were different they just were not very good. prisken is lazy and to fair thats a lot worse. whos to say that prisken has not changed ,but if he has not then he will get stick, and will deserve it.
Actually, Stewart performed remarkably okay when he came on at left-wing during the last few months of the season, despite the abuse and knowing he was going to be leaving. He was one of our few alright players and his pace and energy was a stark contrast to most of our disheartened, slow and lazy players at the time.
We can all get behind the team as much as we like, but we can't stop them being shytt and unfit for purpose. It's not their fault in the main, hence people are right to direct their ire at the board/manager. Don't worry though Chewitt, I'd imagine that it will not be until the 3rd or 4th Palace goal goes in, that the anti board songs will really gain momentum, by which point it doesn't really matter.
When he played left mid he was sh*te (Barnsley at home hint hint) the worst game of the season all he did was head down and dribble then try to skill someone by dancing like a spaztasticated horse
When he played left mid or attacked from left back he put in awful crosses from near the byline and from dreadful early crosses or he put his head down(didnt look up) and dribbled then try to skill someone by dancing like a spaztasticated horse. Take away his speed and acceleration there aint much good about him.
