    Terrible performance.

why are we told the we have good young players yet none of them play? Or are even on the bench.

the tactics are Sunday league level and the way we play is similar.

We need a manager to come in, give the players a lift, the club as a whole a lift. As the way I see it the only place we are going is league 1. unless there are 3 other teams worse.

On a side note, love listening to 606 to fans of the big clubs moaning about the game they watched on TV!! There was a chap moaning about Fergie......

Wasn't there but a friend says he heard a club employee say 'as clear as day' that Dyche is 'hanging by a thread' and that Bassini will look to sell up once he's finished tarting the ground up. I'm not a 'my uncle's, mate's, sister's, cat overheard' kind of poster but that is what I was told.

Make of that what you will.

For the record I'm losing patience, I'm not saying sack him, but he's quickly building a case for his dismissal.

Once Bassini has finished tarting the ground up, we will be in League One, so he will make no money, but then that will fit nicely with the rest of his business CV.

Haha. Well that could well be true. What makes me wonder about the legitimacy of that is the two substantial offers he rejected over the summer. Then again, what is to say he didn't just make them up?

Exactly!! the fact that everyone feels the same confirms how ***** things are at the moment. In all the years supporting the golden boys I have never been a supporter of knee jerk reactions or creating scapegoats. Dyche does seem like a genuinely nice bloke who does care about the club HOWEVER individual and team performances at the moment aren't ****ing good enough.
We have a squad of players now that has a decent blend of experience and youth and we need a manager who can bring out the best of them. Dyche HAS had money to spend ****inson, Forsyth, Iwelumo, Hogg, Yeates all cost some cash and together that is more money spent than most managers in recent history.
Dyche has had long enough. I can think of several managers out there who I think could get more out of our squad than Dyche currently is.
Our fixtures for the next two months are bloody tough and I can only see us in the bottom three come xmas. All I ****ing want for xmas is a new manager in place for the January window and Big Bad Baz giving that new manager a little bit of cash to use in order to add a bit more quality (although I do think this squad is good enough to stay in this league with the right manager).
Going down would be a ****ing disaster, I watch the occasional League One game and it is becoming an increasingly tough league to get out of.
For the first time in 25 years watching/supporting the golden boys there is a part of me that hopes we take an absolute thumping at Leicester so that Bassini realises Dyche has to go......

For those of you calling for the managers head after 11 games, shame on you. Give the bloke a chance, he must at least be given to the end of the year to see what he can do. It's that **** Malky who's put us in this predicament by leaving and taking half the bl**dy back room with him.

No. Just no. He was the only one who worked their a*se off today, even if he did make a few mistakes he got stuck straight back in and tried correcting them.

How he can be 'at fault' for a 'wonder goal' also confuses me?

I normally agree with you virtually all your posts Admin but I don't understand why you want to give Dyche more time?

The performances are getting worse rather than better, we are completely bereft of attacking ideas and the players don't seem to give a ****.

How bad does it have to get before we consider getting rid of Dyche?

If we leave it to the end of the year we may well be rooted in the bottom three and in deep *****.

I have always been a supporter of giving players/managers a chance but have not seen anything from Dyche that makes me think he has any tactical nous or a plan B (plan A is pretty ****ing ***** at the mo).

There are now only four teams below us and with virtually a quarter of the season gone I am not confident of finishing above any of them.

I'm not one of those that want Dyche to go, but to be fair to those that do, 2 wins from 11 matches and a first round exit in the Carling Cup is not going to win him many fans. On the pitch there seems to be very little inspiration or tactical knowhow. Plenty of managers have been sacked with this kind of record in the past, and let's be honest, there is no loyalty in football anymore. If another club offered him a manager's job, he would probably leave us, like our last two managers. It works both ways, fail and you are sacked, succeed and you move on to something better. That's life in football.

I can see your point Admin, it does seem early for people to start calling for Dyche's head but the football being played is awful. There is no creative flair, it would be different if Dyche had come here not having an affinity to the club prior but he was the previous assistant manager and therefore should know the player's that are there and their style of play. It appears that he is slowly losing the player's confidence which is affecting the performance's. He should know what he is doing but something clearly isn't clicking.

Just back from the game and yet again we have dropped points at home against a side that was ordinary at best dispite two good finishes. Disappointing result and an even more disappointing performance. We might have lost against Derby & Forrest but there where signs in those games to give cause for encouragement. Today by contrast, there wasnt. We never looked like scoring and once the first goal went in the result was never in doubt. Most worryingly of all, the fight we showed to come back against the likes of Brum & Millwall was no where to be seen.

On paper atleast the squad is stronger than last season bar Graham leaving and imo the players taken as individuals arnt bad players. Formwise we seem to have started this season how we finished last - we got 19pts from our last 20 games of the season and so far this campaign we have managed 10pts from 11 games. Thats relegation form and unless the team start to show to an improvement I fear that our only salvation from league one is that there are 3 teams in the championship worse than us. Our home inparticualr is a real cause for concern - 4 loses from 6 games isnt good, especially when 3 of those loses where against teams that where there for the taking.

Im prepared to give Dyche some time but he needs to make some changes, we cant afford many more performances like today. For starters the tactics arnt working and it doesnt matter how many balls you hoof forward the likes of Sordell & Garner arnt going to win them in the air against centre backs in this league.

Sordell was woeful today and to make it worse he showed no desire to put himself out. Acouple of times today he could have caused the palace defence problems but he showed either no effort or desire to fight for the ball. He just seemed so slow & lightweight. Tbh I would drop him and imo he hasnt showed anything in the last few games to justify starting ahead of any of the other strikers in the team. Garner by contrast I thought worked hard but had no real service and he isnt going to win aerial balls against 6ft+ cloggers.

Yet again today I thought the midfield was the weakest part of the team, they really where lacking in width, pace & creativity. Forsyth like Yeates doesnt take players on and for some reason Dyche doesnt want the fullbacks to push forward down the wings either so far to often the wide man has no option but to play the ball backwards. I think Forsyth like McGinn will be a good player for us but needs time to adjust to this level. Personally i would have dropped him instead of Yeates today. I like Hogg but he's being played far to defenisvely and so far hasnt offered the squad anything other than being a slightly better version of Jenkins.

I agree,What can Dyche do,he has no money,he has no options except youth.I said at the beginning of this thread we would do well to get something out of this game. One positive today was Garner, unlucky to hit the post, and worked far harder than Sordell, hence sordell was taken off.

Like Admin,I see no point in sacking him,we will still have the same players, still have no money, bringing in a new manager is not the answer, that means we lose more money on a pay off which we can not afford.Patience is required..The atmosphere didn't help today,no one was interested from the kick off.

The atmosphere was flat today, but seeing as we've only won 4 the last 17 home matches, it's little wonder that patience is wearing thin.

Sorry I don't usually like to swear, but seriously f**k right off will you?

How many players has he bought in??? No money??? How many points do you get for being unlucky or hitting a post? They are paid professionals who practice shooting every day in training.

You're either a complete moron or on a wind up...which one is it?

I have my suspicions as I have never ever read so much drivel in my entire life. Sacking Dyche and paying him off is the smaller pain to ease the greater pain of being subjected to that crap every week.

Erm major difference...at least we could see Malky's style of football. Right now a pub team could probably beat us.

Sit Down is bang on the money, need a very experienced manager. If I could choose any manager which in normal circumstances we should be able to attract it'd be Martin Allen, seems to get the team so up for it and every games N County go into I believe in them because of him, but atm he is an unrealistic target.

This nightmare is not going to end any time soon..

-Whichelow is unlikely to ever play for the club again
-No more signings (bar weinmann returning)
-Dyche is unlikely to be sacked, no matter what

I don't have any affection for this Watford team whatsoever, and to be honest, its purely down to the manager. It doesn't feel very Watford at all any more, its a nightmare which is going to end in relegation, trust me.

Your the frigging moron pal..The lack of money say's a lot, because little money brings in little quality, and the money he has been given gives Dyche no chance in bidding for any quality, plus the wage cap by the club will not attract many players but 1st team fringe players at other clubs, like Garner.Any idiot can see that losing Cowie,Graham and Buckley has hit the club hard, that's a third of the squad.Sordell is still leaning and to heap that much pressure on a kid week in week out is gonna take it's toll.Hogg,Garner,Yeates,Forsyth,Mirfin,****inson,Big chris are all frigging new,and it's going to take time for them to all gel.We started to gel a bit at Reading then matey is called back to Villa that disrupts the forward line again.

We need a Midfield playmaker,we can't afford it,we need a proven goalscorer,we can't afford it.If your such a smart Arse name who he can bring in on a pittance of a wage and Transfer budget that will turn this team in to an unbeatable side..Forest have far better players than us and were in the top 6 last year, look what's happening to them. Also the way you talk it's as if we have the divine right to walk over teams that come here, when in reality they have better players. You gotta look at the wider picture, but looking at your other replies to posters your just another Negative **** that does not have a clue!!!

PS Stay at home if you don't like it,cos I'm sure your be heading to our next home game with your head down and dribbling down your chin just waiting to slate the side!!.
