1 more point and we beat last season's points total.

A draw or a win next game, and we'll break last season's points total.

Considering the staff and players we lost from the squad in the last two transfer windows, this is a significant achievement by SD, the new coaching staff, and the squad. Compared to the budgets of most of the other clubs in the division, we're punching well above our weight at the moment.

I feel like we're on the cusp of Harefield really starting to pay off; I'm excited to see what the next 4-5 seasons will bring. Perhaps in the not-too-distant future, Watford FC will field a starting 11 composed entirely of academy players. In 5 years time, maybe we'll see Young and Murray playing in the same England midfield.

We might not be the most glamorous club, but compared to many other teams, Watford FC is a club I can be proud to support. Next season might be an interesting one!

And if we lose next weekend and Ipswich don't win, we will finish the season on 61 points and in 14th place...

Exactly the same as last season!!

The main difference though will be that we have taken more points in the 2nd half of the season than the first. That augurs much better for next season!

If the FA have any sense they should select him for the U21s as soon as possible, to try and convince him to change nationalities, maybe even select him for The Olympic Squad.
Wouldn't been surprised to see Murray selected for the Euros by ROI in an attempt to tie him down.

Good point about the ROI. It would be a smart move indeed by Trappatoni to call him up. Whether or not Murray has ambitions to play for England though is another matter entirely I suppose. It would be fantastic to even see Murray's name linked to a call up whatever happens.

There isn't an England line up that'll win a trophy!

Agreed, if the FA are paying attention, it would be smart to see if Murray is interested in playing for the U-21s. Thus far, Murray has lived up to the hype, and justified the interest of clubs like Man City.

It will definitely be interesting to see what ROI do with him this summer.

Didn't they say they were going to stick with the squad that helped them qualify?

Apparently they're considering not calling up James McClean, who's been pretty good all season in the Premier League. Can't see them calling up Murray for the Euros.

Have the Republic of Ireland entered an U23 team for the Olympics out of interest?

If they have, Murray could be in contention for them.

Nope. Either didn't qualify for the finals or didn't even attempt to.
