We are, I haven't got around to doing a preview today as I've been coughing and spluttering everywhere
In fact let's have it in here, sorry about the lack of effort for this one guys, shall be back as normal for Saturday.
Not having a go at you, you put in a lot of work, just wondered why no-one was talking about it and if it had been moved. Didn't want to turn up to a dark Vic Rd. Hope you feel better soon.
Nope Axwell used to do these with my assistance and I'd do the opposition fan interviews etc but he's busy elsewhere nowadays so I've taken over doing them
I reckon we will lose tomorrow, Palace are just one of those teams that we haven't beaten for a while, no matter how hard we try.
What hoodoo? 39 wins and 23 draws against 42 losses. Recent record is not too bad either. Won 3 out of last 5 home games against them, plus our fantastic Play-Off success against them in 2006. Here are the recent results: 2010/2011 Tue 09 Nov Crystal Palace 3 - 2 Watford Championship 2009/2010 Tue 30 Mar Watford 1 - 3 Crystal Palace Championship Sat 28 Nov Crystal Palace 3 - 0 Watford Championship 2008/2009 Sat 28 Feb Watford 2 - 0 Crystal Palace Championship Sat 24 Jan Watford 4 - 3 Crystal Palace F.A. Can't stand Palace. Them and Leeds are the two teams i'd least want to lose against. Got a bad feeling about this one. Palace to win(draw no bet) at 3/1 with most bookies seems ridiculously good odds considering they have been a bogie team the last couple of seasons. If the defence performs i think we'll win, especially if they don't exploit our left-hand side. Over to you sir Lloyd
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/8824880.Eustace_fit_to_start_as__important__duo_miss_out/ Eustace will be back
For what it's worth, here's what I believe we'll field: Loach Hodson Mariappa Taylor Doyley Eustace Drinkwater McGinn Buckley Graham Sordell Buckley will fall back to form a 4-4-2 at times also.
Is Drinkwater a holding midfielder then? In midfield and upfront we should be good enough to win, defence looks a bit iffy though! Great news if Eustace is back
No, he is a "box to box" workhorse in his own words. Has got a good turn of speed according to my Cardiff cousin, and should prove to be a good acquisition for us. Can't see 'Arry being happy if we don't play Townsend. Prob: Loach, Doyley, Taylor, Mariappa, Hodson; Townsend, Eustace, Drinkwater, Buckley, Graham, Sordell (with McGinn unluckily dropping to the bench for the time being).
I think malky will basically go with what bournemouth dom just said... Loach Hodson Mariappa Taylor Doyley (Just shows how much we need a LB...) Buckley Eustace McGinn Whichelow Graham Sordell Subs. Bennett, Drinkwater, Gilmartin, Deeny, Townsend, Weiman, Mingoia
Although it would be great to have Don Cowie back, it's nice to have a team that doesn't completely pick itself (for good reasons!)
On the Watford website they've got an article about Coral's odds tonight "Don Cowie got the first goal in that 2-0 win and he's 20/1 to do it again this time. The Scot is 13/2 to net at any time." You'd have to be pretty stupid to bet on that! http://www.watfordfc.com/page/Betting/0,,10400~2281184,00.html
Perhaps they know something!!!:biggrin: Could be Foggy tonight whats the odds on abandonement???
Got a hunch this is a season making game.win and we can really press on,drop points and snuggle in nicely mid table
