And he’s going to come to us? To play in the Championship?

I saw it on my phone on Twitter by some blue tick Italian sports journalist (going to Udinese) and from Udinese he would be loaned to Watford. Tried to find again, but cannot. I think a couple of others have picked up on it though. I saw a Tweet from Wendover mentioning it also.

It might be nothing, but seeing how so little we're being linked to, even a tenuous report like this is worth a mention.

 

The first thing to say is how nice it is to wake to a couple of new rumours today after a very quite few days. And neither links this morning are to duds either.

Things might be looking up!

Obviously we got burnt last season with the seemingly exciting young striker loan from Portugal, who then sadly turned out to be not right for our Championship needs. So I’d understand anybody who was against this possible deal because he’s only 19 and quite clearly a gamble for the demands of an English season...

But let’s be honest..

There’s still something quite exciting about the thought of us getting somebody who has played and scored for Real Madrid isn’t there!

And he’s already outdone Manaj, who I don’t think actually ever stepped on the field for the other half of the big two in Spain?

Btw seems he’s been training with the Real M first team this week.

 

Wonder if he would be as "fish out of water" in the championship as the young "€80m release clause" promising youngster from Benfica, whose confidence and probably career we destroyed last season ?
