I thought this numpty (Bachmann) wanted out???? He certainly performed this season like we wanted out! He was so horrific we were begging for Mr Like and Subscribe & Comment down below, to come back into the side!
Great news everyone...BACHMANN WANTS TO STAY! http://sportwitness.co.uk/watford-man-insists-hes-going-nowhere-saw-situation-hodgson-coming/
Great. So on promotion when his profile was higher and there were at least rumours linking him elsewhere, while he batted his eyelashes at every passing club, he stays. Now we go down and no one wants him and he wants to stay. Funny that.
We should have done everything in our power last summer to shift him and cash in. As a pretty shyte keeper, his stock was never likely to be higher. No shock we held long past peak value.

I actually like the idea. I would have no issue signing up to this platform if it means more interaction with the players. At least it will remain civil knowing you have to reveal your identity. No-one (well most people) won’t be dumb enough to make life threatening message or racist remarks.
The fire sale continues Fabrizio Romano Manchester United are in talks with Watford to sign Daniel Bachmann as 2/3 goalkeeper. Watford will only consider a permanent deal. #MUFC Bachmann, among options for Man United to replace Dean Henderson who’s one step away from joining Nottingham Forest as revealed last week.
I noticed he wasnt as shouty against Sheff Utd, has he been asked to tone it down a bit or has he learnt he doesnt need to do it all the time?
Pleasantly surprised with his start to the season. Probably seen him claim more catches in two games than the previous two seasons combined
Its a sad state of affairs that i have to admit that Bachmann was MoM at The Hawthorns. Being behind his goal in the first half, i must say he was very good, and no blame on him for their goal. - honestly the state of our match day squad!
Being #1 in the Championship was what got him in the Austria team in the first place, surely it's more beneficial to him than sitting on a bench?
He does seem to have a knack for saving one-on-ones. Distribution is horrifying at times, but he’s been decent so far. He does give a shyte, which really brings into question the decision the ride the Fozzie train straight to hell last season.
Ironic that his distribution has been dodgy given that was probably what distinguished him from Okoye in the first place. Can't complain though, he's been excellent, kind of feel for him that his wonder save got called back for offside!
As much as his weaknesses were exposed by the top quality deliveries in the PL, he really is a very decent Championship keeper. His stats in this division are outstanding: Apps: 26 Clean Sheets: 13 Wins: 18 Goals conceded: 14
Felt a little bit sorry for him when he went absolutely potty after that wonder save, only for the Lino to put is flag up. Was still a fantastic save, you could just tell he was a little bit embarrassed afterwards that’s all.
Couldn’t have put it better. Great saves but the high profile flap and a few crosses into the 6 yard box where other keepers would have come and punched. If an attacker gets his head to one of those it would be tough to save from that close in. He’s just like he was 2 years ago. Great shot stopper but a liability on crosses. Hopefully Sierralta will stay fit and be there to win the 6 yards box headers.
I've said it before, but Bachmann doesn't tend to make howlers, merely slight errors/hesitations which get punished at Prem level but which have basically never been punished in the Championship, so I think that might be why Foster got the nod last season? He started doing some odd things even in the Championship season, but is generally, for better or worse, more assertive
Even the ‘flap’ came from a deflected cross. I’m not Bachmann’s biggest fan but I think most keepers would have struggled with it under pressure as he was.
How do I find the post I was replying to there? I'm keen to see how much of a cahunt I've made of myself.
I'm only joking - please rebuke later on in the season when the inevitable happens but increase the smugness levels.
