Obviously rich people who don’t give a flying **** for others and always act in their own interest are preferable to ‘do-gooders’.

    Out there, doing good. *****ers.

The divide that arises on the forum just reflects the growing divide in society. This forum no doubt covers quite a wide age and social background range.

Ultimately all if us are here because we have a common interest - we all support Watford fc, the 'Orns, Golden boys, etc (well most of us do, can't forget Flibert) but that doesn't mean that we will agree on things to do with Watford let alone anything external.

The horse has already bolted and the change in use of social media is a big cause of that. Whilst I think it's a shame that the disagreement about the politics occasionally spills over in to the football section I am sure a) this is not the only forum with the issue (it surely becomes the norm on a site with so many users) and b) when you have so many users there are bound to be personal clashes

I don't understand why this should be brought up on a FOOTBALL forum. Let's face it the vast majority of people on here couldn't give a monkey's about how other people live their lives.

Tbf, rubbish as it was, it did feature in a section of the forum titled ‘Non WFC’ an invitation, if ever there was one, to all sorts of monkey business.

Tbf, why should we be talking about our favourite films, when we last went to the dentist, Test cricket, crypto currencies?
