That's been the final nail in the coffin for me re: burgers-in-a-bun. I've always preferred them outside the bap, but now the latter has been replaced by a disgustingly sweet brioche, there is no chance of me ordering one.
'Qu'ils mangent de brioche' as I think she actually said.

I hardly read the football area because it's as dull as the politics area, so don't see that sort of cr*p anymore. My bad.

The post you quoted explains why I started the thread, so I don't know why you bother asking the question again. Still, you got a couple of "likes" from your mates.

I remember some of the threads you started. Usually by a tweet from some nutter conspiracy theorist.

But one was about having the word Cox as a surname, with the "tee-hee aren't we being naughty" associated with 9 yr old schoolboy humour. You little tinker, you.

Got about four replies if I remember correctly, which is good for you to be fair.

I think it is pretty well established that you got the thread closed down because of your complaints about other people posting on it.

Whatever was in my posts, the mods were prepared to let it go provided no one complained about it. You knew that, and I knew that. You were happy to label everyone else a racist knowing they would respond with argument. But when it happens to you, you force the mods hands. If you complain, they have to act.

The place is better off without it, when some posters love to dish it out, but resort to personal abuse, and then complain so strongly when that doesn’t work, that they effectively censor what they don’t like.

I’m with the mods on this one.

It would make it more palatable if there could be some sort of betting add on that the rest of use can use, so that there is some excitement when the usual suspects descend into the usual arguments.

A sort of "in play" feature where you can predict the number of times words like "woke" and "fascist" are used, how quickly Moose and ZZTop will respond to each other, that kind of thing.

Get Ray Winstone involved to promote it: "Oi, you plum! There's a tear up going on where someone finks Boris is a mug and Brexit is for melts but another geezer says Starmer can jog on and Johnny Foreigner can come over for pie and mash. Slap some cash on it, sit back and enjoy it all kicking off".

Yet when you start a thread with the words ‘woke brigade’ we are supposed to believe that you have no one in mind and just want an innocent chat.

About as obvious as a five year old telling a fib.

People starting threads with the sole purpose of attacking individuals and groups with certain political views on the forum was not unusual. Indeed, it was a pecedent set by yourself, given that Meister deleted, I think, at least two threads which you started expressly with that intention.

Though there was also a poster who started a thread that attacked me for unfairly using facts when discussing a false narrative he had been spinning, basically saying 'how can you believe someone who researches their argument, over someone who is really upset and might cry'.

Again. I am not being political here. Just describing what actually went on.
