Werewolf - Road To Qatar - Day 1

With all modes of transport to Qatar booked, a hardy bunch of football fans make an unorthodox trip to the World Cup. A minibus is racing through the desert flats when the engine overheats and breaks down by a small village, the occupants of the minibus get out and take refuge in the village for the day. Due to the hot sun they stayed indoors for the day having been granted hospitality by the locals, then just before the sun set they were handed some tents, food and jerry cans or water, the determined fans were going to walk to Qatar, it was only a few days away from the village. They each carried a backpack and took their equipment and started the long trek as the locals waved them off. During the night the fans made good ground but as dawn was breaking the hardy crew stopped to pitch their tents, having done so they noticed one of their number was missing. Where was Otter? A group within the band who called themselves the masons volunteered to follow their footprints from the night's journey.
After half an hour they stumbled across the body. "Claw marks?" the masons questioned each other. They hurried back to the others and shouted, "There's something evil out here."
But no one had seen anything, nothing had approached the group in the night, the something evil could have been among them. The football fans retreated to the tents in fear. Would they make it to Qatar?

I was going to castrate my 7 month old colt…he had other ideas and double barrelled me with a kick to the chest and the arm. Fractured my ulna.

A slow burn for Day 1, this!

 

Reminds me of the time I fractured my hand playing football a few years ago. Had three dislocated fingers and four fractures. To this day my wife still thinks it's because I fell over and put my hand out to break the impact. In reality I missed an open goal and punched the ground forgetting it was artificial and frozen....

Hope you recover quickly!

Got surgery on Friday, they are going to plate it. Bit anxious but should be the quickest heal I reckon.
