Random thought. I wonder if the winger is Chris Willock at QPR. With Helena Costa having a big connection to Benfica, Willock was on the books at Benfica B before joining QPR. Frenchy said the player he knows about has more than 6 months left on his contract, Willock has 6 months left, however QPR have the option of extending it by a year. So wondering if AF is being a little clever in his wording. I’m clutching at straws probably because I would love Willock to join us, but he wouldn’t be super expensive, Costa would know all about him through her connection with Benfica, and he fits the Manga mold.

Porteous is decent but would either rather have someone left-footed or someone with a higher ceiling. Koulierakis would be my left-footed choice and would mean we have a more balanced set of CBs. If we’re going with a right footer, I think we should be looking at Brighton’s Van Hecke. Was excellent on loan at Blackburn last season.
