Could copy and paste this for today's performance. Doesn't seem to really know what to do as central midfielder.

Was totally anonymous until bursting forward in the 2nd half in the build up to the first goal.

With everyone fit he's nowhere near the first team in my opinion

Slightly harsh, broke up the play well and grew into the game just like the rest of the team.

I like him. He gave his boots to my boy at the Southampton pre season at Wealdstone. Will always be a fan now (Size 7.5, thought he'd be bigger) :).

That is very small for a chap, especially as footwear sizes can be small.
    What make are they?

I thought he was much better yesterday. Louza aside I can see him our better option in midfield unless we bring in some in Jan

Nice for a kid to get anything from a player at the end of a game but I’ve always wondered what people do with boots? Like, a shirt or goalie gloves or whatever could easily be framed but do the boots just sit in your shoe rack? I’d like to think you have a special Dele-Bashiru shoe rack…

Approaching Tommie Hoban levels of insanely bad injury luck.

Yes was thinking the same. Hoban would have developed into a top defender if it wasn't for his injuries.

Manages a pretty full season at Reading but two long term injuries when back with us. Sheer bad luck, no doubt.

Get him fit then get him to a league one club in the summer. Injury prone and not very good.

Our MotM for me, out of a not particularly congested field, he's really nailing down his spot in the team now

Out yesterday as he needed to rest his Achilles, which sounds quite ominous, but hasn't been ruled out for the season

Been told there is no injury, he turned down contract and higher ups told TC not to involve him for the rest of the season. This was just before Preston game.

    So will move on?

To where though - not exactly a regular in our team or played out of position.

Not really - sounds like TDB is opting out of the team by turning down a contract. It's far from uncommon at clubs for players who turn down deals to be frozen out because of it. Helps that there's nothing to play for either.

It's actually a bit of a shame as he had only just now finally seemed to have turned a corner and found a role for us, and seemed to be enjoying playing under Clevs.

I don't know where he could move to that will give him much of a better deal either.

But then why did he start the Saints game and get rightly subbed at half time after being crap?

So we have a steady if unspectacular player, play him out of position for much of the season, finally stumble across his best position and then we have to sell him, classic! I guess that's the reality of a club who no longer have any Prem income! Cheers for the info, what do you know about the other players in the same situation contract-wise (I believe that's Sema and Hoedt)?

What I will say about him is that we have midfielders who can pick the ball up in tight areas and dribble forward (OK, Asprilla is already halfway to Lisbon or Bergamo, but Chak will almost certainly be around), but not enough who can then pick out that killer pass consistently

Fair comments, I suppose. Should really be up to TC who he does and doesn't pick IMO.

Although, saying that, I don't particularly rate TDB.

That doesn't explain why he seemed so off the pace and had to be subbed at half time though.
