We’re back in the Championship because of these owners. They didn’t get the players in positions we were crying out for, and left it all to Giraldi. Then out of the blue they sign Sarr. Why? Let’s face it he wasn’t really a priority in the grand scheme of things. Pound signs we blinding these owners and it looks like they will get their way selling Sarr. I wonder how financially that stacks up compared to the millions they pissed away leaving the PL. When they started handing out new long contacts to others, it could only have been in the hope they could get some profit by selling them if we went down. That’s not ******* worked well, they are losing the ******* plot.

If we get hammered 8-0 yet they sell Sarr for a profit, they’ll see it as a good week.

True, but we got out of the championship and into the premier league because of these owners.

Are you referring to the anti Pozzo group who will see it as a good thing for us to lose 8-0 as it backs up their arguments and furthers the revolution? Worrying if true.

Do you realise you can view the owners as incompetent but still support the team on match day?

yes, I do realise that and I don’t have a problem with your views. It wasn’t me that originally suggested some fans On here would be happy with an 8-0 defeat to Scum.

Please can you show me where someone said it'd be good for us to lose 8-0 to Luton? Or is this, like your accusations of vitriol, just complete nonsense?

Anyone else remember David Ornstein on the Athletic mentioning of rumours he had heard of interest from American investors towards Watford?

I asked one of the Athletic's journos a question re this. See attached.

We got Garner on loan from Man Utd mate. Without the Pozzo’s, we would never attract such talent. We have a lot to be thankful for.

Memories? Not all of them good, but at least it's not boring. The majority of clubs in the 4 top divisions have very little happen to them, decade in, decade out.

Shouldn’t be understated, Deeney day is one of the most memorable moments in football full stop, hence why they’re showing it as an advert on Sky sports at the moment. Obviously then we’ve got the cup semi and reaching the final, famous wins over the big teams etc. What else does anyone actually watch football for?

Yeh exactly . I’m really not sure what some people support a football team like Watford for , but for me it’s those amazing moments that don’t come all that often, but when they do, they make it all seem
Worthwhile. If you can’t enjoy those then what is the point . I don’t expect to have anything to ‘show’ for it and anyone that does us going to just be disappointed.

That’s it!! The gloves are off! Get the Hell Out!!

All because he was cheap yet again, Ivic is stuck playing 3-5-2. We have the best winger in the freakin league and we are playing him as a striker because Gino didn’t buy a LB!! The excuse, there were no players worth it.

Haha absolutely done with his cheapness. I would honestly rather be the next Man City and get bought by dirty oil money than have this jackass running/ruining our club.

We need Sarr bombing down the wing, terrorizing full backs, getting them booked/sent off and being an overall nightmare for defenders. Instead we play him as a striker because that’s the only place he “fits.”

And a big feckin do one to all the idiots that try to give me a history lesson of what could have been. I know. Been supporting watford for 31 years! Gino’s time is up. Can’t put a squad together capable of beating league 1 Wycombe who are championship pretenders.

I really feel sorry for Ivic. Best head coach we’ve had in years and Gino can’t deliver for him. Pathetic owner.

I’d love nothing more than Pozzo gone but tonight is not the time. Ivic needs to work with what he has and his tactics are not getting the best out of a strong collection of individuals so far. He must adapt to his woeful owner.

One draw out of 46 games people....

Not great, but hardly the straw that broke the camel's back.

Anyone calling for the owner or manager to go while we're in the top 3; at least hang on till we've played 10 games.

Ive wanted owner out for nearly 3 years so the results this season are irrelevant to that sentiment.

Last night really exemplified everything that is wrong with Pozzo era WFC.

Players like Chalobah, Cleverley and Cathcart, here until their contracts run out because no other team would ever take them on under such terms.

Players like JP, Sarr and Quina, not suited to the Championship, played out of position and only here until they can generate a profit.

Players like Capoue giving 30% effort against players who are about 20% as talented.

A team who seem to shrug and go through the motions in the face of things going against them

A bench with absolutely no options to change shape or unlock things because of a legacy of mismanagement of the squad over 3 years leaving us in this pitiable position.

Last night was so familiar it's easy to see why people are fed up with it.

I don’t get this Sarr being played out of position thing, he’s still mostly out in the wing, but largely ineffective as he has two banks of players to beat from a mostly standing start. He’s a pacey winger, and they aren’t much use against teams who defend deep.

    Psh, you're such a COG.

The COGs are really out in force today, they've been desperate for an excuse.

We are in a bind because we're fallin' behind and we're determined to keep it loose.
Then we came across a young man who owned a football club and running it into the ground.
So we all jumped up onto a hickory stump and said, I'll bring you round.

You run a pretty bad football club, but give the COGS their due.
I bet a ball of gold against your soul
That we can get better owners than you.

    Nothing new, you say.

Si why is anyone suddenly changing their position on this result is what I don't get.

I'm not struggling to work out your position, which is consistent.
