I did wonder where they had suddenly pooped up from.

I wonder if Brighton start to struggle if their fans will say there is too much focus on that club?

Our owners tried to do something similar with OH Leuven but they seem to have given up on it since Vichai died and then Covid wiped out King Power’s income for a year.

Hasn’t yielded a single good player or useful loan move.

Well it is considering Leicester is regarded as one. And they had wealthy backers. This side has not won a title in eighty years and have been out of the top flight for over thirty. They still play at their old ramshackle stadium. They have not spent big either. Mainly loan signings and free transfers. Yes Bloom is wealthy but he has not spent much on the club although Brighton have sent some players there on loan.

They have a young leadership. The manager is consulted as to his requirements for a player. They like Brentford use intense statistical analysis to identify targets. They then unlike us do checks on the players character and mentality. And they are where they are. Anderlecht may be having some financial problems but it does not detract from the fact they have upset the apple cart. So yes it's a fairytale.

This could be the death-knell for the European Super League in its current guise:

That and Juve's owners leaving under a cloud surely kills it off for now, although no doubt the vampire-like people behind this will be back again for another try soon.

That's not a nice way to address Florentino Perez.

I would like to apologise to vampires everywhere for associating them with Perez.
