I know most if not all of the players don't live in Watford but if I had the chance to live in or near to Florence I would be keen. A beautiful city with fantastic,if slightly dotty fans.
Well he'll have a lot of time on his hands to take in the beauty of the city with Joaquin (and Salah if they sign him) keeping him out of he squad
Sounds more like the player is to scared to play in a top level league. Unlike spain and italy the premier league is now becoming more unpredictable as teams get stronger.
Give the guy a break and all that, this could be nothing more than a self perpetuating myth No one at the club ever verified we had a agreement to sign him, in fact Duxbury reportedly said "who?"
He did say who, but he recovered it quickly, and he did say frangipane will be here next season. The guy (Juanfran) is giving off a kind of sniveling creep aura, and it seems that, like most, I am quite happy for him to go elsewhere, especially if there is a big fat, totally undeserved (by us) fee in it! Especially if it is only because we got him to sign the contract, and did nothing to develop his career. Love it. In most situations I would have been dubious about it, but here, I think it is swell. I'll be 100% behind him if he comes though. Also, someone mentioned the Pozzos treating players with respect elsewhere on the forum. I agree with this, but I doubt it is entirely exclusive. If the player himself shows no respect, I fancy they would be treated in kind. I think one or two of our players have found that out over the last three years.
Just a thought, him still being on our books; is Juanfran turning up to training for pre-season, or is he off touting himself across exotic parts of Europe. Who do we ask?
That picture really captures St Mary's Parish Church and the Exchange Road mosque beautifully, and I must say that the Colne wending its way around Tesco has never looked so sublime. And everyone could do with some cheap curtains now and then.
Off to Deportivo on a permanent move according to t'internet. Hope we do the right thing by him and arrange a testimonial, definitely my favourite Watford player never to have set foot in Vicarage Road.
He is on a season long loan deal from Watford FC http://www.canaldeportivo.com/noticia/30621?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
I don't believe he actually exists, he's a figment of Gino's imagination, there is a tax scam going on here somehow...
Gutted with this one. Guessing Nyom was second choice after Juanfran decided he didn't want to come here.
Heath Chesters has written about how the Juanfran situation is working in practice. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/07/19/watford-investment-signing-hopes-for-permanent-la-liga-switch/
Juanfran has never put a foot wrong for us. Should have his own song. 'Juan, Fran, I am a man, club or no club you can't tell me that I'm not.'
He's probably the only one of these legends to never ever wear a Watford shirt, not even on signing ? I doubt he even knows whereabouts in London Watford actually is.
Lost count of the number of signings who have been happy to come to us because Watford is "a London club". I'm sure he'll have got the same sell but didn't get as far as finding its London in the same way that Epping is.
