    If I was to desperately scrabble around in an attempt to lay my hands on someone else's COG cap, I suppose I might say that at least a six-year-deal decreases the chance of it needing to be extended three years into it after his 3rd consecutive ACL injury...

    I'm liking our transfer strategy so far this season; bringing in younger players. Louza looks a decent acquisition on paper, has a lot of Ligue 1 experience considering he is only 22.

    Pretty decent. Haven’t seen quite enough to be very very excited by this but he’s clearly a good young player, in an area where we needed to improve, with a lot of potential to improve and make the step up. A lot of scout types seem to like him a lot - we’ll have to see if we see him realising the potential he showed in 2019-20 or if 2020-21 is more his level.

    Classic Pozzos - it all happened so quickly.

    Centre back and striker (not Fletcher) next please.

    Wouldn't look into the €10m fee too much seeing as they got the contract length wrong.

    Nice to see we are trying to do our business nice and early.

    I reckon (just a hunch) that it's an initial fee of 5-7m Euros with achievable bonuses pushing the fee up to 10m Euros. Given the gulf between base fees and fees inclusive of bonuses, reporting of transfer fees is always a bit woolly and unreliable.
