Whats actually disgraceful about Giaretta's new contract is that he's only been offered a 3 year extension and not longer! There isnt anyone involved at he club, at any level, whose more deserving of a new improved contract than Giaretta. We wouldnt be where we are today without him - there certainly arnt bigger representations of what the club stands for today than Giaretta and to fob him off with a measly 3 year deal is a travesty!

I suspect you could be right. Good old fashioned nepotism.

How this guy was in the room and not confronted is a joke!

I can’t believe not one of our fans thought about questioning his new deal. How he has massively failed over the years with woeful signings. Especially when Gino stated how the managers brings them players, but they think they know better ones. The spineless cowards we have are because of him. Would have been great for someone to call him out personally and state that he is useless at his job.

Giaretta positioned himself near the back close to Andrew French.

It's true he wasn't mentioned in person, which perhaps was a missed opportunity.

Someone very near him did ask "What we’re seeing on the pitch is diminishing returns. The players look disinterested, they look uncoachable". Which implicates him.

I think there was an agreement that only Pozzo and Duxbury would speak. Manga got mentioned a couple of times but didn't speak.

Watching Andrew French blog like a hawk just like he does training sessions.

I've heard he's about 6'6" is that true? His opinion of Bachmann made me giggle.

We could have got rid of him but after his woeful performance this past season, I’m not surprised no-one wants him.

If he is out starting GK then we’re screwed. He needs to be told he’s back up. If he doesn’t like it, he can cancel his own contract and leave for free. Outside of that he needs to shut up and accept he’s crap. His place is on the bench.

Agree entirely. I would much rather him be sold, even if it’s for £10k, just get rid of him. However sounds like we’re trying but no-one is biting. So if that’s the case then he needs to know his place is back up and on the bench.

He was a major factor in our poor results last season. You can see it on our defenders faces, when a cross comes in, everyone panics because Bachmann isn’t coming off his line to get it. The defence has no confidence in him.

Brilliant. Part of the amazing squad we've given those pesky managers.

But of a random one, but I saw Giaretta sitting outside The Gate pub in Bricket Wood this evening. He was with three other guys but none looked like a footballer and he wasn’t on his phone either, the slacker.

    Bayat?

If not, probably agents of other players. Frightening that he’s handling that side of things as is. Probably why so many deals don’t go through.

What was he drinking? Has he embraced good old English ale, or is he persisting with some namby-pamby European tipple?

No idea. It was just a drive-by for me, but he really stands out because of his hair and height that's why I spotted him.

You say that......well......I was doing a round trip and decided to go back via BW so I could wind down the window and shout "buy some bl00dy players". Alas, when I came back, only 20 minutes later, he had gone. So, yes, it was a missed opportunity,
