At Etienne fans saw the recent idiocy with English fans and said ‘hold my tiny bottle of beer!’

They’ll probably have to show it at home next time !

After this shambles I’ve decided I’m not going to go to any champions league finals that we reach. It’s just not worth the risk.

Liverpool fans once again the completely innocent victims. All honest, decent, ticket holding folk, peacefully trying to get to see their team.

Why oh why does it always happen to them?

    Bless them. Poor unfortunate lot.

Will certainly be easier tonight as they will have no opposition to face until tomorrow.

Still scoreless. Can’t see either side finding the net for a while at this rate.

Good old Rookery Mike firmly behind the Liverpool fans on Twitter despite the fact he wasn’t there.

I think most are now given what the general media have been saying but surely no doubt there were a few drunk, late, ticket less fans.

Ok a number probably got caught up in over zealous French police (mind you people said after the Euro 2020 stuff ours weren't strong enough to stop the violence and fans breaking in ) but they cannot say every single one was behaving like a angel!

They don't when a few thousands come to the Vic.

From what I hear Everton and Liverpool fans are probably the worse for trying to get in when they want to rather than waiting like everyone else.

The UK press are supportive of the Liverpool team as they want to be support their readership. It’s clear a whole bunch of fans tried to get in with fake tickets and wouldn’t leave the area. From that point onwards it was always going to be tough to get genuine fans with genuine tickets past them and in.

Not sure why Bachmann needs to set up this social media platform that requires ID. 99% of Watford fans on social media are sycophantic bum lickers who wouldn’t have a bad word to say about Hitler.

They look like they've been down the pub for a month. Embarrassing given that half of the Ukrainian side haven't played this season.

He was like the twelfth man for Scotland.
Ukraine could have scored at least five and I was only watching between the unpleasant parts of Springwatch and then breaks in the tennis.

Thought I'd watch a bit of Nations League footy tonight. All on some random Premier Sports channel.

Good way to drive interest in a newish competition by sticking it on some obscure channel no one probably pays for unless by default of some TV package.

I guess that no serious channels could be bothered to pay for the other non England games. Kinda sums up the competition.

Surely it’s just the same as with qualifiers - home nations shown but games for others countries aren’t going to get any audience over here to justify tv companies investing? Plus the competition lasts several months. I think the finals will be shown next summer.

Maybe. But in a time when there's literally no football, I'd have thought that Sky and/or BT would've been all over it for us bored football desperate no lifers.

Not quite - BT Sport are showing Solihull Moors vs Grimsby in the National League play-off final on Sunday afternoon. There’s some interest in that Solihull are led by Watford old boy Neal Ardley and Grimsby, who’ve been in the doldrums for many years, seem to have had new life injected into them with new owners and played their part in two thrilling play-off ties.

Though I wonder why it’s not being played at Wembley - have the National League reverted to playing finals at club grounds? Why not Hillsborough (which is fairly large but not overly so given I imagine Solihull have a really small fan base, and is conveniently located for both clubs) instead?
