We've sacked 17 managers over the course of the Pozzo reign. Isn't it about time he works it out? He needs to sack himself, because sitting back and watching the fireworks of each disaster must be wearing thin.

Can we not have them both? Burnsy can take the first half and then Nath comes in to give them the riot act at half time. We can roll through the COG register for the post match interviews

We need to come up with a Henry VIII style mnemonic for the fates of each manager under the Pozzos

I see our managerial situation like contestants on Takeshi's castle.

Even if they get past the maze, and the rolling pins over the river, Gino and his yes men will turn up with a vastly superior water gun and take them out in the end.

    They're rigged to fail.

Get promoted and we might get Jonathan Pearce covering our games on MotD though!

I can just imagine his shouty grating voice now "...and there's Mahrez with the 9th....."
Another reason to stay in the champ.

He started out on Radio 5 Live, got too big for his boots (gob) then somehow got a job on MotD along legends such as Motty (RIP). Barry Davis is another one I find hard to tolerate. Micheal Owen as Co Comentator is just cringe.

I just can't bear his voice. Can't bear it. I have to mute his commentary. Everything is wrong about it.

Don’t get too comfy lads !

The players can surely not strike up any relationship with the new management knowing they will probably be gone in 6 weeks ?

I was told Prestridge was still at Middlesbrough after Wilder left. And has left them to join us - seems a big thing to do when the guy you're coming with is on an 11-game contract.

But he's very highly rated in what he does.

Might be a 13 or 14 match contract if he does well.

Yay, Knill has implemented some very inventive setpiece routines in the past for Wilders sides. Wouldn't surprise me to see one on Saturday considering the small amount of time they've had to work on wider tactics vs the immediate impact of a setpiece goal

That would be great if we had an expert set piece taker…

Some would say we’ve had a well set “piece-taker” running the club for a while now.

Knill, Prestridge and Allen sounds like a reputable but slightly down at heels provincial legal firm.

I don't get why we don't have a player making a run at the front post to flick the ball on considering we can't beat the first man.

My prediction of a poor performance on Saturday salvaged (to some extent) by a late set piece goal to equalise from one of the big lads at the back is one step closer...

Let's hope they also work on defining set pieces after the recent goals we have conceded.

Given he hasn't been at games recently, and AF says that he is 'injured', he probably isn't in the country.

I don’t care what else happens to the seasons end, as long as it’s more entertaining, and we look like we are putting out a team that is fully committed to win the game.

Perhaps we should start a crowd fund for the players food?

Interesting part of this article, I'm sure Boro fans (and possibly Sheffield United fans too!) will disagree with his claim that he's tactically versatile, but I'm not sure what system we could play that leaves the fewest amount of square pegs in round holes. I suppose the Bilic formation, just because he was unable to get anything out of a 4-2-3-1 it doesn't mean Wilder can't, although I don't think Davis can work as a lone frontman and Araujo is untried (and I would argue Kamara is a much more effective wing-back without as many defensive responsibilities as a traditional full-back)
