    We have hardly played well for a entire game all season.

    Belgian Burnley and Sheff U are gone.

    Boro,WBA look better than us,others don't look anything special but nor do we.

    If we finish in sixth place I'll be surprised.

    Were WBA better than us in November, or are they better than us now? Were Reading better than us in August, or are we better than them now?

    That's the idea of a 46 game league isn't it? Best teams in theory rise to the top over time.

    In my view WBA are better than us, and we are better than Reading. And the league table after 46 games will show that.

    In November they were 10+ points and 13 places below us. I would say at that point we were better than them.
    In fairness, they look better than us currently. I don’t really see a problem with that

    We weren’t, much like forest last season once they sacked a hopeless manager they were much better. It was just a matter of time before they caught up with us, a point a few of us tried make clear at the time, but if you refuse to take onboard context when looking at league table it would been a struggle to comprehend that.

    From now on I don't think I care if Burnley/Sheff Utd win every week. As long as they keep beating sides in and around us then that's fine with me. However, our lacklusture season of never being able to string more than three wins together is only going to get us a top half finish - which is either a good thing for squad building for next season, or a P45 for Bilic.

    3 points behind them and they have a game in hand,....before our next 4 very tough games.
    They could probably even afford to lose to us, and still finish in the top 6 several places above us.

    Burnley look an absolute joke. Really good recruitment, Kompany doing a great job, and a squad full of confidence. I thought they'd have a good but transitional season but they exceeded all expectations.

    It's the singular most important part of football though. At the time when we were a long way clear of West Brom we were the better side hence the points total. Not sure why that's such a big issue. Now they are much closer to us I happily admit they look better than us at this current point
