Forde’s hat trick. https://mobile.twitter.com/VoicesOf...io/iframe/twitter.min.html1611837428083429377 Does seem to show good strength and power but obviously is quite a step down and the keeper wasn’t great for a couple of goals .
I was expecting a picture with the match ball but... this is far more practical. Edit: That kit is awesome!
Hardly the way to promote a healthy lifestyle. Sport and junk food should not mix. Always found it disappointing to see the fizzy drinks garbage and Mc***** sponsoring World Cups.
Yeah a Championship goalkeeper saves goal two and a lot of the time goal three. Not sure the first was really in the corner either.
JJ McKiernan returns from Eastleigh "to fight for a place in the Championship team". He seems to have impressed but I'd imagine he'll be getting a loan in League One or Two. https://www.eastleighfc.com/news-mckiernan-returns-to-watford-following-the-end-of-his-loan/
Dunno why but I thought he was a centre back but he's a rangy and skilful central midfielder: Definitely seems to have done well at Eastleigh but also didn't realise he was already 21.
Gone back and scored. https://www.watfordfc.com/news/loan-watch-mckiernan-marks-eastleigh-return-with-a-goal
And boy was it an important one! They've not won for ages, but they are looking better now than under Toure
It was. Seems to be playing well. Mind you watched it on the ITV highlights and not sure the narrator got it quite right when saying "Watford could do with him for their promotion push"
He scored a wonder goal for Ross County (free kick) which won goal of the season etc, however its what he doesn't do in games that's the problem off the ball!
Shaq Forde grabbed his 7th goal in just 628 minutes played last night. Little compilation of all his goals this season below, really impressed with his movement and finishing ability. (doesn't include last nights game)
Looks like one of our many forgotten men is coming back due to an injury . https://sportwitness.co.uk/watford-man-picks-bad-knee-injury-never-decisive-loan-deal-questioned/
He's still got a bit to do before then I think. Despite being on a hot streak he hasn't started much (6 starts out the 11 games he's played in) and York are hardly flying (18th I think). Hopefully he can nail down a starting spot and become a key member of their team for the remainder of the season. If he can do that and keep his form then I imagine we'll take a look at him in pre-season (we could do with a goalscoring winger since Sarr is likely to be off..) and probably be able to get a better loan.
He has his flaws but our club is hardly the place for youngsters to thrive. Managers in and out, different systems, short termism etc, etc. Mind you the SPL is probably around the bottom level of the Chumpionship for most of the sides in it.
