Players like Cuddley and TDB can prosper if they have talent and discipline around them.
If they haven't they are akin to headless chickens, running up blind alleys.
I lost count of the number of simple passes that found a blue shirt.
Ngakia from two yards was the lowlight.

They’re a nasty team with nasty fans. I wish them all the worst.

Utter crap and embarrassing. Want to see Kamara's red card back, as didn't look like a red to me as looked like a shove (albeit an aggressive one). That aside, I don't think it'll be any different.

We are so weak and crap in CM with just TDB and Bacuna, and need some movement early into the window. Hopefully we haven't bought in Manga to sit there and do nothing - though with the state of this club in recent years, it wouldn't surprise me.

This team has had no testes since Deeneys left. Bunch of shirkers and passengers.

Apart from about half an hour at Stoke when we were already 1-0 up, we haven't had a proper midfield all season, Klopp would struggle with our shower

He took whatever Cajone's we had left with him. I don't miss his football but I do miss his leadership and pride for the club and shirt.

It's not Bilic's fault, he's worked hard on the squad but I think it's clear NO manager could turn us around without more of a clear out. Even with the injured players back only Louza makes much impact.
We've got a couple coming in next month but I don't think it's enough to change the stink that exudes from our collective bunch...
We need 2 serious midfielders in asap

This was the most frustrating thing for me. Sarr ducking out of headers, players pulling out of challenges. Reacting to provocation and getting yourself sent off is not showing fight, it's bottling a tough 90 minutes.

    Poor all round.

Ngakia was awful, Davis was awfully greedy just running into players, Sarr was invisible for 60 minutes and now our best player is injured.

I thought Bilic made good subs to counter Kamara's stupidity but you're not going to win games with a midfield of Bacuna & Dele Bashiru I'm sorry. No midfield whatsoever, completely bypassed.

Kabasele was awful too, hacked the ball out of play countless times, no build up whatsoever.

The only thing that cuts deeply about this, is how utterly predictable it was and how it has all happened so many times before.

4 years at least now the same problems have been constant. Deep running flaws in squad character, balance and gaping issues that have never been addressed by an ownership who have another agenda than the strengths of out playing side.

We had a close call earlier in the season. Some of the fans finally seemed to have enough. They were fed up with the lies, the absolute shambles at the club and the sacking of a young, British manager around whom we'd claimed we were rebuilding.

Then they were all placated by a couple of wins.

And now where are we? We are no better or worse than under Edwards, but the managerial merry go round persists. Our 'stars' turn up one game in 5 and make something happen. Outside of that, we are a very run of the mill, mid champ side.

The very worst thing that could happen IMO would be to scrape promotion this season. We have zero players worthy of the Premier League and not the resources nor ability to build a prem side in a single summer.

Financially it would paper over some cracks, but this club needs to bleed now. It needs to bleed so the owners feel it in their pockets.

Stay down, lose Sarr and Pedro, sign more Bayo, Kayembe, Manaj type shyte and then drift down the table until finally these owners wake up and **** off.

We will have to rebuild from somewhere whenever they eventually decide to leave. Might as well be sooner than later, and if that means with debt or admin or whatever, then so be it, but I'm bored of this.

I left at half time today. I've seen this match more than 30 times before. I don't care to see it again.

Choudhury too makes a difference, him and Louza is a ******* solid midfield at this level, shame about the rest of them

I don't like them either, but twice this season they have outplayed and out battled us in every department. They are a good example of how to be a decent Championship side, hard to beat, score goals on the break and get stuck in. We haven't done all that all season bar the Derby game where we played above ourselves for 90mins. Millwall deserve a lot of credit for today and they can go back to their part of London full of pride. Our lot can go sulk and pick up their wages on Friday for a job well done.

No major surprise given the injuries. We do need reinforcements that can hit the ground running. Still optimistic that we can finish top 6, but I know that will not be enough for some who have been spoilt by our on field success under the Pozzos

We look badly coached. Bilic seems to get away with a lot with our fans but we have looked awful in an alarmingly high number of games under his stewardship. I still cannot work out what we are trying to do. Our plan today seemed to consist of playing out short to heavily-marked players and aimlessly hoofing in into the midfield scrum. Moreover, it didn't look like we had learned anything from the away game where they completely bullied us off the park.

Edwards, despite not being very good, was cut far less slack.

Interested to know if this is a take from attending the match in person, as on the tele they really didn’t look that bad? Looked like Millwall asked some pretty basic questions of our chumps and we folded under the pressure just like at their place. A lot of it was just playground provocations and morons like Kamara swallowed the bait big time.

When was the last time we looked well-coached? It's hard to look well-coached when you've got a randomly assembled bunch of players

It was a bad tackle to put JP out of the game, the worst thing is it wasn't even necessary from their point of view, at no point did we look like getting anything from that game

Anyone who spends the best part of £70m on players to be good enough to finish 6th in the Championship has my contempt.

Can make excuses about having 10 men but even with 11 Millwall dominated us totally.

Simply an awful performance against a strong side who wanted it more.

I know it's a rhetorical question but I'd say Silva.
    Possibly Gracia.
Not for a long long time though sadly.
I'm reminded of a rather blunt member at a club I coached asking why a certain pupil bothered as "he'll never be a tennis player as long as he's got a expletive deleted" etc etc.
That's where we are with coaches as Robert Peel put it succinctly!

I haven’t seen a replay, so will reserve judgment beyond saying a yellow looked fair in real time, but frankly I want to see us being competitive and making life hard for key opposition players rather than rolling out the red carpet for them or picking up yellows/reds with meaningless fouls in the middle of no where. Pedro was fouled once and that was game over for him. Rumour in the shoutbox was his ankle was strapped from the start - if that’s right, I’ll tip my hat to Millwall for spotting it and going after him. Things like that are a bullseye target to all but our team it seems.

Oh honestly, who gives a **** any more?

This club is just complete and utter *****. I really don't even care at this point. In a way that's highly depressing, but at the same time it's quite nice. I've become so disconnected that it doesn't ruin my day at all any more.

Agree with @I Blame Bassett, but will add GT. We never looked like a side beaten when we were losing. We played and at least cared in every game. Even when we were getting battered for 26 games in the PL we never looked anything like we did today. A lot of the problem is the players, not just the management/owners. They don't give two $hits where we finish this season, Watford is a mere stepping stone in their careers. Why bother trying when they will be off in a season or two?

Re Silva. The manner in which he left our club left a really sour taste in my mouth, but I have to say he's a very very good coach. Having watched a lot of Fulham this season and last season(because of Mitrovic), they are very well drilled and have a clear gameplan. I don't remember a game in which they were outplayed. I sometimes wonder what he could have achieved here.

And Gracia is my favourite Watford coach (apart from Jokanovic). We played really well and he seemed like such a nice guy. I sometimes think he should have been given a bit more time to try and turn things around.

The only good thing about that game was I'll have a few nice clips of some nice set-piece routines to download tomorrow. All Millwalls though.

It’s brainless by Kamara, and a red by the letter of the law, but I don’t think every ref sends him off for that at this level. And that’s what’s so frustrating. If you’re going to get a red card for a deliberate act at least make it count. Splatter the other bloke’s nose into his face or whatever. Don’t get sent off for playground pushing.
