Microcosm of the season so far. We are clearly a level above Cardiff, and the 3 points are there if we reach out and take them. Whether we will or not I don’t know.
Abysmal start & soft goal given away, so relatively satisfied with half-time score. Strong start to second half please boys !
One of our better away performances overall , but the usual sow start buggered it up a bit . Need to keep up the momentum and we can win this one !
Frustrating as all hell for giving away a cheap early goal well within the 6 yard box. WTE and Bachmann both take scrutiny although the former has some credit in the owing to decent performances recently. Cardiff will probably say the same about giving away a cheap headed goal from a corner. Think scoreline is about fair even if we've dominated the ball and got into overall more dangerous positions. Absolutely must not switch off at start again and keep giving it to Pedro who just makes anything happen.
Agree, but JP has so much quality that playing deeper radiates it to a greater amount of our play. Bayo should be the impact sub coming on for Davis but we are where we are.
Bayo isn't a bad player but few strikers in the league are as good as Davis. Biggest difference is how Davis is very good at using his body to bully players. Bayo doesn't; he likes to try and wait between the lines for an easier take which makes a huge difference to getting the ball forward and harms our ability to break on teams. When Bayo is around the box he's not bad but he's not as rounded otherwise.
Would have even considered putting Sarr up front with Davis injured and putting Hungbo on the wing. Bayo is turd. (Hopefully he scores now though…)
He is taking up a space on the grass. Runs around like a headless chicken. Still, we are 2-1 up at the moment.

Well poor for 10 mins then fairly dominating , but with a few worrying mistakes. good victory , 3 wins , into the play offs thought Kamara was a bid dodgy today , but gasper was better (most of the time)
Strange feeling to have won 3 in a row, it’s been so long! Kabasele being put on in the final few minutes had me thinking Bilic didn’t want the 3 points… I had to switch to a stream of Hive Live after Sky Bonus Stream randomly ended, what was that all about? And the co-commentator for Hive Live sounded like he was having a great time, so enthusiastic!!
Good win there. Came back after a woeful start and probably should have scored more. Interesting that Cardiff played Madge Allsop, Dame Edna's bridesmaid,Rosa Mota,the Portuguese marathon runner and Billie Jean the little lad from Villa. He looked a livewire. Kudos to the Hornets who travelled. Safe journey home to all.

An entertaining game and a very good comeback win after a poor start. Building up a head of steam up the table, into the top 6 after three straight wins. On to the next one.
That was a very solid performance. Nothing spectacular and we took advantage of their poor defending at corners (after our earlier lapse). Didn’t create that many clear cut chances from open play, but I thought that we had the Cardiff players where we wanted them. Apart from their tricky player up front, we quelled them. Put Davis up top and we are a stronger unit by far. Pleased with this run. The timing is good too (if we keep it going). Just before the mini preseason.
A crucial winner with a towering header from our flashy, lazy winger. He really needs to read the script next time or I fear we may not finish in mid table. WWW going into to two home games, let’s make it WWWWW.
Really, really enjoyed that performance, it's what I wanted to see under Rob. Get the ball forward, put Cardiff under pressure, get off a shot / cross, repeat. We repeatedly put pressure on, compounded pressure and got our rewards. It's the best we can do without a quality striker / finisher up top, break teams down and get the 3 points. Slav might be onto something here, he's clearly a good coach. Also, whatever people want to make up about Sarr's body language, attitude, quality, 90 mins performances they can. However, when it comes to straight goal contributions per game at this level the guy pops with a goal and assist what feels like every other game.
We missed a few of our stronger players tonight, and were sloppy at times, but we won it, and deservedly so in my opinion. The lads are beginning to show more fight as a team now, and that’s all we can ask for!
FInally overcoming the psychological barrier of going a goal down. Had to battle through the last ten minutes but we deserved the win. SierraRSCosworth was a brick wall. Bayo linked the play surprisingly well at times I thought. Good results elsewhere, HMS PTL is picking up speed under Captain Bilic, he had to fix a few holes in the hull but she looks in good shape at the moment, ahoy there.
Good result and good performance. Thought we panicked unnecessarily a fair bit in the last 15 minutes though - some experienced players letting the ball bounce, wildly slashing at loose balls etc. I see Burnley have won again though - two injury time goals. ****s sake. Any ideas why that game is in the 100th minute?
