I actively hope we lose every game (other than the ones against Luton) until this happens.

The idea of us winning at the weekend makes me feel ill.

 

As long as I don’t have to spend a penny on the club, I’m in.

 

Christ, we’ve fallen a long way for Duxbury to end up on the side of good.

 

Hardly shocked at the news I just thought it would of happened last Monday!
We weren't playing or even really looking dangerous.
Gino speaking up and Giaretta keeping his job is more worrisome.
So I suppose it will be Duxberry as the scapegoat this time.

 

With Sarr in the squad we need a manager who can organise a defence in a 433. Rob didn't seem capable of doing that. Having said that he was completely shafted by Pozzbury in the RWB department. Basically Pozzbury made an insane appointment, failed to back him in the window and then sacked him after 10 games. The whole thing is a demented tragic farce.....utter madness.

 

Not happy with this and can't see it ending well.Rob seemed like a nice person, but his game management including the way he failed to make (effective) subs reminded me of Hodgson. However, I was prepared to accept that he didn't have the personnel (injuries etc). But...I don't think he should've been sacked, it smacks of desperation, and all the chopping and changing must be unsettling for the players.

The biggest let down is it's one step forwards and 3 steps back.

We were promised a new start etc. Then we get this. Whatever criticisms of the performances (and they're fair) the fact that we've done this within 10 games, shows just how little Gino cares what the fans think and how he thinks his hire and fire circus is the way forwards.

I don't actually give a **** that Edwards is gone. He looked well out of his depth. Been saying that since early season. Talks a good game but outside of that looks clueless and we've been ******* awful. Not entirely down to him alone, but he's still been part of the problem.

The problem, yet again, is dumb and dumber Duxberry and Pozzo appointing the wrong man in the first place and having to pull the trigger for the 658th time. Alongside all their numerous other failings and ********, of course.

 

Yes, the only problem is that Bilic will also be a complete dud.

 

I pray with all my heart we don't get promoted or even get remotely close to it either this season or next. Let the club burn to the ground, I have no affinity towards it anymore.

 

Worse still, the quick appointment of Bilic robbed you of an opportunity to daydream about the swarthy Italian Gino might have been eyeing up to replace Edwards. That's unforgivable.

I just cant understand how they've turned to this gargoyle looking horror rather than the plethora of hunks in Italy. It's just mental.

 

Please God let this be true. If Scott did leave, Gino has to appoint someone honest, genuine and talented ie the opposite of both him and Scott. It's not gonna happen is it?

Was also just on a Twitter space where he admitted there’s been zero contact regarding the fan-committee since the first one, and that every single thing said by Duxbury on the night is now shown to be demonstrably untrue.

 

Presumably Fuxbury - being a man of honour and integrity - has tendered his resignation after this latest balls up?

Absolutely this. My 'hope we lose' comments were initially a joke, but they've become increasingly true, to the point I get a perverse thrill when we get beaten. Hate this current iteration of our club.

Honestly, I despair. New long term planning in full effect.

 

I don't think it's quite as you make out.

The club is probably f**ked if it doesn't go up this season, but I doubt to the extent of going bust - I think it's rather that if we don't go back up this season then we'll simply be resigned to mid-table mediocrity for years due to lack of funds and reduced player pulling power.

I mean, the aim is clearly to get promoted this season, and Edwards doesn't seem like he has it in him. We made Blackburn look like Man City. If there's a mistake it's probably in his initial appointment.
