With Leeds needing to raise money, if they truly are in for Sarr then I would imagine that means they are losing Harrison. If I was a Leeds fan I would be fuming. Would much rather Harrison.
If the £15m fee is true, it's an absolute embarrassment and Gino/Scott should be ashamed of themselves.
The backlift, to strike a ball at the correct height, and correct pace from that distance over a professional goalkeeper is very hard! There’s a reason ex-pro’s crow when these kinds of goal go in - they know how hard it is to do in an actual professional match.
Not sure why João Pedro is suddenly part of this transfer saga as well. Then again it wouldn't surprise me if we sold Cucho, João, Sarr and Dennis and failed to replace them.
That will be cracking if after using Mogi to bring Sarr in, we also give him a cut to secure us a massive loss.
After we pay Rennes the final 9 million we owe, there might be enough left to pick up another right winger from Mogi. Happy days.
The fact that this kind of goal is scored so infrequently is testament to how difficult it is to pull off in a real match. I don't think I've ever seen it done live before and I doubt I ever will again.
Happy to see him go. His recruitment was the start of everything falling apart. Wrong player, wrong position, wrong use of funds. If we can come out evens accounting for three years in the team, it will be a great result.
What do you mean by “evens accounting for three years in the team”? £32m received as fee? Or £13m which is his book value? If the former do you think Leeds are offering £32m? Can’t see it.
I have a bad feeling we are going to ship Sarr and JP out to Leeds, would be ridiculous to let both go but we are Watford wouldn’t be too upset if Sarr goes but if JP goes as well not sure what shape we would be in
i hope so on here as well https://tbrfootball.com/report-joao-pedro-now-one-step-away-from-joining-leeds-on-loan/ but not suggesting this website has any credibility
Not sure who needs to hear/read this… But Joao Pedro certainly isn’t joining Leeds, on loan or otherwise. Sarr is who they’d like if they sell Harrison (which isn’t close to happening at this exact moment) - that’s where this is at. Unsure if they gamble regardless of selling Harrison. But don’t think it’s as advanced as being claimed and he trained as usual today.
