Only successful periods of the last 3 years were when Bachmann was in goal. But let's gloss over that and chant this self-interested bellends name.
That is tenuous in the extreme. Bachmann is a terrible keeper and was shown up massively in the Premier League.
Made 11 appearances with a defence of Kiko-Ekong-Cathcart-Rose. Didn't play well but there was a chance he could have improved, whereas Foster's ability level was only going in one direction.
I'd say so. One went from reserve keeper to first choice international in 6 months. The other went from professional keeper to "beat the goalie" podcaster.
Granted, the resistance from those in front of him was pitiful, but someone needs to tell Ben that he's not Superman
For Austria tbf, I don't think Bachmann really improved that much, just proved to be a competent Championship keeper for a pretty dominant team
Foster is an idiot, but rewriting history to suggest Bachmann isn’t anything other than a laughably bad keeper isn’t adding anything to the discussion around Ben Foster, which is what this thread is about. It’s the usual binary crap this forum gets bogged down in.
They're both laughably bad at this level. But at least Bachmann doesn't join in with the laughter, unlike Big Ben
“What Roy and Ray have done for us is brilliant” Seriously - wtf goes on in his brain before he communicates?
Words from someone who owes a manager s lot as he picked him for England whilst “nasty old” Capello didn’t..
Must admit it’s a funny way of doing it. Acting with mock shock and fake surprise when it was pretty obvious.
Yeah thanks Ben. That Spotify sponsorship must be doing him so good - one of the biggest streaming platforms in the world since iTunes. What about doing it a bit more somberly?
He read this comment and thought he'd up the stakes by sitting with the Chelsea fans today. Wouldn't be surprised if he cheered their goals.
Probably did he fake shocked "oh matron!" face when the winner went in. Ghastly individual. It's truly a wonderful day that this man will not be at our club next year.
Doesn't seem to have done one of his match day vlogs for a month now so looks like the club belatedly put its foot down. Be interesting to see if his next employers are as accommodating (if he stays in the English game).
Probably because we have lost most games so as you suggest maybe someone has said it’s not a good look ..
