Sadly manat can be filed under the same umbrella of forum users that contain MK Donny and Caskey. Just trolling for bites, not really believing what they type. At least I hope they don't believe it...jesus
Think this tells us all we need to know about your attitude to facts and objective truth. It's the pyre for you.
MK Dons actually have fans? Imagine being a plastic club like that desperately trying to troll the biggest club in the whole Three Counties?
I have been reminding people he isn't the worst signing Watford have ever had, and point out that it isn't unusual for a player to move and it not to work out. Nowt wrong with that coz its true.
Virtual Pozzo money or not, I still think Success was a worse buy, his goal record made Gray look like Luther Blissett ffs (ditto Nathan Ellington). Have no issue ranking Gray just behind those two in the hall of shame mind you, struggling to think of bigger expensive flops
When you were talking about “inventing a footballer” rather than him misspelling Deulofeu’s name I thought at first you were referring to Manatleisure describing a version of Gray from a parallel universe where he is a semi-competent footballer!
Even in a fantastical parallel universe conjured up from the ether, he's still only semi-competent...
If ever there was an example of a failed experiment that is a cause for celebration that club is it. Hard to believe that the original Wimbledon would be doing any worse if they hadn't moved and their breakaway counterpart shows they would've returned to Plough Lane eventually, so what was to be gained with all those changes to the location/name/badge etc?
This is the point I make these days. If people want to show their dislike for him with snappy comments like 'he's crap' that's fine as he has moved on from the club and in that respect I'm not that bothered. But he is not the worst player Watford have ever had that is nonsense. As for expensive flop that is subjective depending on whether some value to the club is better than nothing at all (I would reason with the former), and as I mentioned before, the value of players and expensivity differs through the football ages.
Maybe I’m being beyond cynical, but the second touch had a whiff of miscontrol about it; however, fortunately for Gray it was then in the right place for a fine finish.
100%! Thought exactly the same. The second touch gave him no alternative but to hook it back over his shoulder. Total fluke (although good execution in the strike). We all know he's sh*t.
Look at the finishing of Dennis and then look at the finishing we had to watch from Gray. Then after you've stopped laughing you can appreciate that Gino has in fact done it again with a phenomenal upgrade. What a ledge.
Great finish from a proven goalscorer. We were never going to be able to hold onto him forever. Just savour the goals and the time we shared when we could genuinely say “Andre Gray. Yes he’s our player”.
Manatleisure was right all along. We must accept this new reality. Who is going to volunteer to administer the apology fellatio?
He's out of contract in the summer, we're free from him. In fact I propose we close this thread and forget this waste of time and money ever represented our club.
