We average nearly 4 goals every time we win, but haven't mustered a single goal in the games we've lost? Not really sure what to make of that.
Remember when people said Cleverley wasn't good enough for the championship when used correctly (pressing machine) he is absolutely quality. Ranieri got everything spot on today, loved how we clearly identified Wan Bissaka as a weak link and just lobbed every ball into his direction, must have worked 10-15 times during the game. You can see the impact of his coaching already because Masina & Cathcart looked like competent players! Hard to pick a MOTM out of King, Dennis, Cleverley, Kiko and Louza.
I also thought the ref was excellent today, which was refreshing after last week. Final point. Fair play to Foster for his save at 2-1. Ronaldo scores that 9 times out of 10 and we go on to lose that game.
Watching the game back, I really hope this isn't a repeat of the Liverpool 3-0 game where we were excellent, but Geri going his knee ruined our seasons and probably relegated us. Sarr hasn't been the best lately but he'd be a huge miss.
We do at least have more options in attack now, and literally all of them are more mobile, quicker, and better with the ball, etc etc, than any single option we had in 19/20 to take up Geri's attacking mantle.
That's true, we have to stay up for it to be an important result. Otherwise it'll be as pointless as beating United and Liverpool in 19/20.
If we score first, teams attack us more and we hit them on the counter. If the opposition score first we're fooked. Hopefully Sir Claudio can sort this out. So far this season we've been great on the counter and terrible at breaking down well organised teams who defend as a unit.
Don’t care for the mocking of Man U or Solskjaer to whom I’m entirely indifferent. We were bloody great today, enjoy it!
I just got home, I have lost my voice. Too much shouting, "COME ON YOU YELLOW BUGGERS", during the second half.
They presumably get tickets because our ****head fans give them their season tickets if they can't attend?
UP THE BLOODY ORNS! Yes there was some luck involved but who bloody cares, eases off some pressure with the fixtures we have coming. Leicester out of sorts too, Ranieri will want to win there, win those and we can happily go into Chelsea & City games knowing two losses won't be as damaging as they could have been. Brilliant stuff!!!
Feel like Foster's save in 1st half was overlooked as was the save v Ronaldo later. I've rightly given him stick for his below par performances, but the last 2-3 games seen a notable improvement in his overall game and looks more like the goalkeeper we expect him to be.
On Sky just seen Merson made the point that not one of our players could get in their team, so how’s todays result happened??? That’s Football for you Merse!

United have sacked OGS. Lineker and Owen are disgusted that Watford are the cause of yet another managerial casualty.
