If that happened I think Nath would need reviving from the shock of his most loathed player actually doing something.
ARSENAL AWAY Why play If we ain't got a chance? Sarr might swing it in King head in a glance Dennis class Could open the lock Cootchcar flying header His head a rock Watford Watford Please don't capitulate Watford Watford Don't leave it too late 2-0 Watford
But that's the frustration with Sarr this season. He has the ability to do more than the rest of the team, he just needs to apply himself.
I'd be lying if I felt very confident we'll get anything from this game, but it certainly is a possibility. It depends as much as to what Arsenal side turns up I think though. Foster, although he has improved since his abymsal display v Leeds has not done enough to justify keeping his place for me and I'd hope he is dropped for Bachmann who was dropped for less. Meanwhile, although he is a superb servant to the club, Cathcart should not be a starting PL defender in 2021 and I hope N'Koulou will be fit for the game which will provide the team with some much needed quality there. Why he wasn't signed in the Summer is a mystery. Masina has had some very respectable displays last few games so I'd keep with him. Ngakia looks, as we knew, a very bright RB and has displaced Femenia out of the side. As for the central midfield, I'd change things up. Sissoko is the only CM who has been playing to a consistently high standard and is the only untouchable CM option. Kucka has had mixed games, but as he is 34 that's understandable when he's been played every game, and in my opinion, over worked despite his very good fitness level. Louza needs to play as he is the closest Hughes replacement we have and will not improve sitting on the bench when we have little to lose bedding him in during games we don't expect much from anyway if he is to acclimatise. Tufan is a good passer and has great vision. We would benefit from some creativity here. The only area I'm mostly happy with is up front. King looks every bit the player we hoped we were signing and has lead the line superbly. Dennis has looked more dangerous than Sarr, being a more consistent threat than the streaky aforementioned Sarr who has not been working hard enough like the other options up front do. He's dangerously close to being dropped for my liking. Overall, I'm going for a 2-2 draw. We sure as hell aren't keeping a clean sheet but we have goals. They still owe us for breaking Liverpool's winning streak back in 2019/20. ----------------Bachmann---------------- ---Ngakia---WTE---N'Koulou---Masina--- -----------Sissoko---Louza-------------- ------------------Tufan------------------- --Sarr-----------King-----------Dennis-- Subs: Foster, Cathcart, Rose, Kucka, Cleverley, Cucho, Fletcher
Interesting formation choice. 4-2-1-3 but it just goes to show how lightweight we are in the middle and why teams cut through us like butter. Louza won't start as Claudio has said he isn't "match fit", and I think Foster would have to put in a Huddersfield away shift to get the hook for Bachmann. I do agree with N'Koulou for Crap Cart. It will probably be Cleverley in place of Louza, with Tufan and Sarr wing men with Dennis just behind King. Seems 4 2 3 1 is a formation Claudio seems to favor. I would actually go with your lineup though and formation. We may as well go attack them, sit back and we will never hold out for 90mns.
Also missed that point blank header from about 4 yards out under no significant pressure against Sheffield United, in a match that we went on to draw, tho...
Hopefully we will get to tune in to ATV and witness a meltdown, but I doubt it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Please don't bastardise the name of one of our players just because you don't think he is very good. It is disrespectful and offensive. I called out another poster on this a while ago in relation to Mariappa. We all like to hear each other's opinions, which we are all entitled to, but it can be done without resorting to this sort of thing.
Arsenal are playing very well at the moment. Yet there'll still no doubt be a nonsensical meltdown on here when we expectedly lose.
Quite right. We regularly read that Craig is a ****** useless sack of **** but crap cart is a step too far imo.
Of course not. I have said everyone has the right to an opinion as to whether they think a player is 'no good'. Mine is that Willis was an extremely poor footballer for the level he was hired to play at, but I would not offensively bastardise his name to make that point.
Well if we put in a performance like Leeds away for example, I’ll probably be guilty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can't see anything else apart from a loss. But what I do want to see is some kind of progress. We played with desire and passion against Everton and then should of been torn a new one by the Saints at home. But unfortunately the defence will be our downfall again because the Gooners are moving the ball around with purpose and we won't be able to live with it. If we go long and try and turn them then we could get lucky but everyone needs to be on their A game. Always live in hope but I believe it's not a good time to be playing them right now on their form.
I wonder who Sky will have in the studio for this one? Probably keep it impartial with a couple of old Arsenal players.

Arsenal have hit form, shame we couldn't have had them early on when they were as big a shambles as we are. Like most of us I fear another WTE /Cathcart horror show and am desperate to see the new bloke and Sierrelta asap. The only hope for us is our forward line can hit with speed on the counter attack and as such we are probably more effective away from home. Hope Sarr can play to his potential. It's almost as if he doesn't know his own attributes and I wish he would run at pace into the box and force the defender into a decision. Defenders hate pace, wish he would use it as he did against Reading at home last season. Probably a defeat, but I live in hope.
