I just think it’s a shame for the penguins. The uneducated viewer might be fooled into thinking the penguins are with the Saudi cartel.

 

Newcastle fanbase have lost the plot along with their moral compass.

Never had a problem with Newcastle fans but over the last couple of years they've become really unpleasant. The abuse aimed at Steve Bruce was disgusting and now this takeover business. Horrible club.

 

They’ve always been like this. People are now waking up to this because the spotlight is now on them.

I’ve always maintained, just because there is a lot of them, doesn’t make them good fans. They are as toxic as any support in the country.

 

However bad Norwich’s team is/ has been this is Farke’s premier league record:

W: 5 D: 8 L: 34 For: 28 Against: 98

A 10% win record and over 2 goals conceded per game. I’m pretty sure there are managers out there who could improve on that.

Under government rules it has to be recorded by the police as it’s been reported to them. It definitely meets the (exceptionally broad) definition of a racist incident. And so next the police have to determine if it’s an actual crime or not. “Assessing the information and carrying out enquiries” doesn’t necessarily mean anything will happen as a result, nor that they’ll be doing a great deal more than asking the two clubs for their views and making sure the banner reported to them is the one pictured.

It is crazy to think that despite all of the arse licking Brentford get and the bashing that Watford get there is now only two points separating us.

 

Chelsea are probably not the worst for plastic fans, but I was at Stamford Bridge the night both teams were on the way to relegation from the top division in 1988. The attendance was 11,240. Hardest of hardcore fans only that night. Different era.

 

I, for one, can't stand Brentford.

Teams are starting to figure them out, which I find pleasing.

 

Hilarious to me that Brentford, two places and two points above us in the league, are a ridiculous 9/1 to go down, whilst we are at 1/1.

Josh King also now has more goals and the same assists as the oh so brilliant Ivan Toney, having played less games.

 

Ivan Toney only has 1 goal from open play this season. People were suggesting that he would get an England call up this season.

 

In fairness, I don't think King will be getting any England caps any time soon!

 

I don't mind them but they are a side we should be aiming to finish above.

 

I know bloody Norway taking all our best players. I was hoping Southgate would give Haaland a run out.

While they have been playing better than us with a more difficult set of fixtures so far (I'd be surprised if they go down), it wouldn't surprise me if they do have a little slump now, that's 3 home defeats on the spin now. Toney has been good, but in fairness, King has also been a good signing, even apart from his goals yesterday, his general play has been very good, we look so much better with him as a focal point

 

Apparently it’s the first time ever in 133 years of top flight football that 3 teams (Norwich, Burnley, Newcastle) have zero wins after 9 matches.
