Xisco clearly has absolutely no faith in him We would be better bringing someone else in so he can go on loan in the cham rather than continuing to rot on the bench
Ngakia is not ready for PL football if pre-season and Saturday are anything to go by. I like him and think he can improve but we need better in the here and now (not saying DeAndre Yedlin is that though!)
Signing Yedlin and keeping Ngakia here to sit in the stands all season would be pretty disgraceful. I don't care if Ngakia is having to learn on the job, I'd rather he played.
A little concerned about the depth of the squad if we lose Chalobah and Quina without bringing anyone in.
Any right back cover over Cathcart would be preferable/welcome, but at the same time Yedlin would be about the worst version of that I could think of that I have heard of - like a carbon copy stylistically of Kiko, only with less inherent talent. Unless he's had a late growth spurt and simultaneously learned the trade of centre back to a Premier League standard...
I don’t disagree. But if the options are having a weak team but appeasing Ngakia, or having a stronger team but upsetting Ngakia, I’d pick the latter every time - harsh as it sounds. (That’s not a suggestion that Yedlin would be preferable)
DeAndre would be like our late Zeegelaar signing. Yeah, he has played in England, but he left this division because he wasn't up to snuff.
I dont think he is a million miles away and he seems to grow into each game. He is going to make mistakes in games, but lets not act like Kiko, Cathcart, WTE etc have not done the same on a fairly regular basis. I think with Sarr on that flank most teams are likely to target Masina's flank anywhere as he is equally poor defensively but there is not the same counter attacking threat ahead of him.
Surely we would be in some kind of auditorium like the UN with little name plates and a microphone that moved around and came down from the ceiling?
Ozan Tufan is like when we signed Layun, Sierralta and Belkalem. An entire football-crazy nation starts supporting Watford. Turkish media will link us with everyone.
Not to stir up any hostility, but the same DeAndre Yedlin who said... https://www.fotmob.com/news/1viat1r...lin-risks-stirring-up-'very-beatable'-hornets
I would be surprised if we accept it/it's true/it sticks and the Premier League go along with it, but if there is any reality to the suggestion that we have been banned from playing Sierralta for three games then the decision to operate a threadbare stable of shyte centre backs looks an even better one.
Serge Aurier currently negotiating a release from the last year of his Spurs contract Would be very Watford
