I was Swiss Cheese, oh, that was Mother Courage. I went to watch The Threepenny Opera at the Donmar Warehouse. It was my first trip up to the big smoke. We left at half time and marvelled at the big city lights. I hate Brecht.
I enjoyed TCCC but he's quite grim it's true! Still compared to standing up for nine hours of The Orestia he's a blast!
Well you just about said everything that I was going to post.! I was stunned by the performance, expected that line-up to be utter cr@p but it looked like Munoz picked it last week and spent the week drilling them. He deserves kudos for coaching like that. Lazzar started slow but second half played some great stuff. I guess his problem is that he's the type that can really play but comparatively poor in actual defending? Was worried to see Chabs in a boot.!!!
Gino Pozzo might not thank me, but get the contract out, put it on the table, let him sign it, let him write whatever numbers he wants to put on there -- given what he's done since he's come in -- and let him sign the contract and go. Isaac's at the wheel, man -- he's doing his thing. Watford are back!
We were good away at Reading in the 2nd round of the League Cup at the start of the 2018/19 season, with Success and Quina scoring.
You think we can hold onto him after a goal like that ?!? No chance. Will go to a champions league side but he deserves his chance, we knew we couldn't hold on to him forever
What a result 6 or 7 players and a few amateurs and a couple of camels beat the swans 2-0. Nice to to win so at least next season they cant start with the , haven’t won at home for x months. Goal from success , would have been better if he had slipped and fell after he hit it , grays goal was alright someone needs to score those kind of goals , have they done enough to be with us next year - don’t be ******* silly. Deeney back , wonder if that will be his last game for Watford. Our defence really is pretty good even today with a virtual complete swap of players , Swansea created a lot of chances but never really looked like scoring.
A few thoughts.... - today just sealed it, Munoz is a great coach/manager, we won't find better. - Sanchez did the Hughes role pretty well today and maybe should be retained? - Lazzar played well today, ended up in midfield, and I think that's probably where he could be best suited, he got forward well. - surely Brentford will go up now, Bmth and Swansea look finished this season. - I guess we've now got 3 months of many transfer rumours going round with little happening until the last minute.?!!!!
He's as good as gone but hopefully, many years from now, he will come back to us for £10m aged 33 on a 5 year deal.
Surely not from the perspective of what’s best for us? Or do you not see Brentford as a threat in the PL?
Maybe I should throw my hat in the ring? Played Titania in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” but what should really swing it for me was playing Charlene in a sixth form “hilarious” Neighbours skit.
Saw that in the 6th form with Dame Judy-Loved it - didn't understand it-Catalyst for a not so stellar career that's still awaiting lift off after many unfortunate misfires!! Gutted to miss the highlight of Gray & Success's seasons on hive!
In other news, what does the fact that this was our most successful home campaign say about the support we give the team at VR when we’re there?!
It's always the same with DJD,she was the umpire at Wimbledon qualies in '89! Blast her eyes! Hmm I'm tempted.... Now hold on just a moment here HH24! If this production is the one I think it is at the East Cheam Rep and Social Club I demand first refusal! Get your own arts programme Melvyn!
Oh I do like Carroll! I have a tea set, espresso cup,all sorts, not forgetting all his works. Brilliant man.
