Thanks for the update. I need to look harder in the drinks aisle. Guessing there's diet Lilt out there too if this is the case.
This £7,500 p/w rumour is unfounded though and is the word of someone who has got as much right as he’s got wrong. It’s certainly not gospel. Supposedly on 30k a week at Brighton - when times are hard like they are in football currently, I find it hard to believe we are only paying 25% of his wage leaving Brighton to be generous on paying him the other £22,500 a week. I bet we are picking up at least 50% of his wage, probably more.
Even if it's £7,500 I still believe it's a costly mistake as you say it could and probably is more. I tried to justify his move after being completely shocked but have seen absolutely nothing from him so far. I want to be proved wrong so badly but with Perica, Deeney and Gray more than likely ahead of him I cant see it.
He’s 36 and surplus to requirements, if nobody else wanted him then saving 7.5k is better than not I would’ve thought. Either way he won’t be on the £25k that Welbeck was on if not fit, and obviously not £70k for when he was. Don’t get me wrong they’d both be crap options.
sick and tired of reading "he seems like a nice bloke..." Does he? He seemed like a complete **** to me.
Always surprised by that line from football fans, majority of footballers wouldn't want to be within 100 metres of any of us plebs and wouldn't think twice about banging your misses (if she was hot)
If this guy was available on a free, why on earth aren't we in for him? We need a striker, he has played for England and maybe we could have negotiated a pay as you play type deal
Well there you go. Good knowledge. But is Lilt lemonade? I'd say 7up was fizzier and that's lemon and lime...
Some things happen every year and you can set your clocks by them. Christmas. Easter. Valentine’s Day. The clocks going back. And Watford being linked with Borini. It’s happening again lol (he’s a free agent now) It’s kind of comforting.
Yep he run around nicely but when it came to end product he offered virtually nothing. Rinse ans repeat until the next injury for whoever he plays for. Lovely guy and certainly deserved better luck but we needed more and by the looks of it Brighton do as well.
If he stays fit all season and scores the goals to keep Brighton up I'll be happy for him but also a tiny bit miffed
