    Deulofeu posted a thank you to Watford fans on Instagram. Uses interesting language like ‘my the time at the club so far’ and ‘all the best for now’.

    Suggests a return if we get promoted seems to be part of the plan. Here’s hoping.

    I will miss his little haircuts and his sneering spitting contempt for opposition defenders.

    In some alternative universe he got a red card for that elbow 30 seconds after coming on as sub v Wolves.

    Not sure of the relevance of him actually being fit as a bad thing. Surely it means we had a better chance of selling him than we all assumed, but instead loaned him to our own club, is that a bad thing? Alternatively despite actually being fit nobody wanted to buy him, which we can’t do much about.
